"The staff's service was terrible, they were very rude. From the receptionists to the waiters, it felt like they were doing you a favor. They charged a tip without even asking. The mattresses in the rooms were very old, you'd sink right in when you sat down – horrible! The mini-bar wasn't working, my baby's milk went bad, and to top it all off, I found a cockroach in the bathroom. We rented 3 rooms and it was the same issue in all of them."

"Resort is off the main area of Ixtapa - to get around you'll need a car. The unit had good air conditioning. There are personnel at the reception 24 hours. It's on a golf course, so quiet except for one night when there was a very loud party nearby that went onto until one or two am. They clean & restock towels daily, but the kitchen only has basic kitchenware. We had to buy our own paper towels, soap & scrub sponge. "
