Hotel is in an excellent location next to the old city of Jerusalem. However, customer service and experience can be better.

Once again the David Citadel lived up to all expectations from the comfort of the rooms, the graciousness and courteousness, to the food and the ambiance. A special shout out to Manuel Arbid who continues to be an outstanding director of guest relations. He takes care of each hotel guest as they are personal friends and for some as family.

The hotel is a bit tired and dated, the service could be better. It was very slow, maybe that’s why. The breakfast here is excellent and is the highlight of their dining . Everything fresh, lots of selection and very tasty. Said was our waiter, he was great. Gave very attentive service and was always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a great breakfast.

Great hotel, really made us feel like special guests. Highlight was the breakfast and Said the best waiter in Jerusalem (maybe Israel!). Said made sure to get us anything we wanted and even memorized our drink preferences so he could have it ready for us before we got there. We felt like royalty! Thanks Said!

This is a fantastic hotel. Beautiful, immaculate and the service is amazing. Pool and view are stunning. If you want a little extra service or help ask for Said at breakfast. He's the most helpful and will get you anything you need. By day two he already knew what I wanted and just brought it without asking!!

The hospitality professionals here are 1st class and a pleasure to do business with. Yett’s at the desk was impressive and helpful beyond description. A great Ambassador for this delightful hotel! Many others, as well. Naim in valet and concierge is wonderful

I spent a week at the Citadel in early June for work. I had an alcove deluxe room on the 1oth floor with an Old City view. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the closet space was great. It was nice to have a sofa and a balcony to sit on after dinner. I had breakfast on the terrace facing the Old City most mornings. The breakfast buffet has everything you could possibly want and the omelet station is a really nice addition. Ada is a wonderful waiter and I always make sure to sit in his station. Samir makes really good iced coffee and cappuccino! They make your morning something special. We had access to the lounge which was nice to be able to pop into in the afternoon for a snack and something cold to drink. The pool is a nice plus in the warm months and the hotel location is great. It is easy to walk to a lot of places from there. All the staff at the Citadel are all very helpful and nice. Check in was seamless and they are very helpful when you need a cab. This was my 6th or 7th time staying there. You can't go wrong by staying at the Citadel.

"I had a fantastic dining experience at Vernda Restaurant Fine Grill! Zayn, our waiter, provided excellent VIP service from start to finish. The starters were delicious, but the real highlight was the Tomahawk steak - cooked to perfection! The cocktails were expertly crafted and the desserts were the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience."
