Golan Garden Hotel really gave me a lot of surprises ～ originally because I was going to the Yi Nationality Garden to play this hotel for two nights, I didn't expect this to be the most satisfying part of the whole trip!
First of all, I found that the swimming pool was really super big when I entered the hotel. The child arrived that night and shouted to go swimming after dinner. Later, we found that the staff should have arrived at the time of work and still satisfied the child's wishes.
Secondly, the design of the whole hotel is very careful, every detail is very beautiful, even the ceiling of the room I like to see. The design style is simple and elegant, with a tea room and a small balcony. Sitting in the tea room and the swimming pool, you can see the swimming pool and coconut trees 🌴, and the holiday feeling is full ～
Finally, we must help us arrange everything for the housekeeper Poppy who has not checked in yet. With her, this holiday is really complete. She arranged the driver to pick up the station. After arriving at the hotel, the dinner in the restaurant is also ready. You can eat at the restaurant. The next day, I made an appointment at 10:30 to the Yi Nationality Garden. There was a driver waiting for us downstairs. It was another pleasant day. On the third day, poppy helped us make an appointment to go to the fruit picking garden. It was originally 5 people to make a trip, but with her help, the three of us also went, and the hotel packaged the transfer. It was so happy in the fruit picking garden, and a staff member of the picking garden joined us and told us how to pick it while explaining. There are a total of 88 fruits in the entire fruit garden. We picked 10 seasonal fruits. Dragon fruit, Sakya fruit, pineapple, golden fruit, Hawaiian fruit... The boss is also very enthusiastic. It can be eaten unlimitedly without taking fruit in the store. He has been telling us that nothing can be added if you don’t eat enough. Unfortunately we can't hold on to it haha.
The experience in the Golan Hotel is perfect, but unfortunately the time is too short. I have the opportunity to bring my family here and I will stay again. I have to stay at the hotel for two more days. The children like this big pool very much.

There are a bunch of tropical plants that I have never seen before; the dinner is a New Year’s banquet invited by the owner of the inn. The guests talked and laughed happily, sharing bits and pieces of the journey, drank a glass of white wine, got a little drunk, and liked it a little~ The inn is located in the Dai Nationality Garden In the scenic area, it is very close to the splashing water square. The location of the inn is good, very close to the Splashing Square. The surrounding is very quiet, there is a RV base opposite, and a few songs are withdrawn. The room was clean, but I found the toilet garbage left by the last guest and cleaned it up. There is no one on duty at night in the inn. It is recommended that the boss hire a volunteer to live in the inn in case of emergency. There are a lot of animals in the Yi Garden. A gecko crawled in the room and I gave birth. In addition, after nine o'clock in the evening, there was basically no supermarket opening. The security guard at the door said that the private car could not enter after four o'clock in the afternoon, but the boss led it in advance. The entry and exit process is not very smooth, and I will not see the ticket for a while, and I feel more casual.

We booked a triple room for the May Day trip. The room was very, very big and clean. The owners were two young men from Kunming. They provided warm and thoughtful service, and we were very satisfied. The triple room had a wide view, was bright and spacious. Unfortunately, we came at the wrong time. Xishuangbanna was really hot in early May, with the highest temperature reaching 39℃, and it was dry and rainless. Fortunately, there was air conditioning in the room, so we had to hide and not go out during the day. The temperature dropped at night, and it was much more comfortable. We could walk around the Dai Garden, which was quiet and peaceful, and experience a different life in the Dai village. If you are not afraid of the heat, you can also participate in the water splashing activity in the afternoon, which is quite lively!

The inn is in the Yi Nationality Garden Scenic Area, an ancient village of Yi culture and architecture, especially two thousand-year-old temples. There are many inns in the park, but this inn is a little higher-end, with its own swimming pool, the room is large, there is a tatami, stayed for 4 days, although it is far from the central area of Banna, but it is very comfortable and there is a scene everywhere. Outside the scenic spot is a small town, there is a night market, very lively, and the prices are very cheap. The only downside is that the inn is understaffed. If you can enrich the breakfast, it will be more perfect!

I went there the day before May Day. The surrounding house prices have risen amazingly. This hotel is really good and the price is right. Although the breakfast is simple but the taste is OK. I took the children. The swimming pool is very clean. The children like it very much. It is much cleaner than the swimming pool shared by hundreds of homestays in Gaozhuang. And it's live water.

The homestay is not far from Manyuan Village and Yi Nationality Garden. You can rent a battery car or bicycle to visit Manyuan Village. It takes about ten minutes to arrive, which is very convenient. We lived in the hanging foot building, with the children to experience the Yi people hanging foot building, compared to the star hotel, the room is a bit smaller, but the national experience is full, the first floor has a hammock and rocking chair, there are bamboo wind bells, children love it. Around dinner time, we set off to Jinuo Mountain to gather and distribute headlamps and flashlights. After the guide explained some precautions, we set off. It was very interesting. We climbed mountains and trees along the way and saw various insects. It is also a large plant research base. It’s playable and highly recommended! ! The boss was very hands-on and encouraged us to participate. Highly recommended and will choose it next time

亚亚当The BaiMa (White Horse) Hotel is on the 9th floor of a beautifully designed building. It has a tea drinking area at the elevators. The whole hotel, including in the rooms, has pictures of what I think is an expedition race the owner took part in -- but it's not overdone. The location is perfect, right on the center west of the new north-side of downtown JingHong (main tourist area). Right beside the night market. Delicious food found at the restaurants nearby. Corner store (with decent wine) downstairs. Motorcycle and scooter rental down the street in front of the hotel. The best views of the Mekong!
The room was big, spacious, and postmodern (contemporary) in decor -- very comfortable and still having personality, not just a ”white room” as so many hotels are styling themselves as, these days. There is even a small fridge and a full-sized washing machine! The bathtub on the balcony was very romantic. The cost was worth it, compared to more expensive rooms in other hotels.
The staff was beyond helpful, first by allowing me to choose which room I would have, and second, by helping me order flowers and food to my room. They even brought us free chopped fruit. They had cleaned my room during the day when I went out, even changing the bedsheets when they noticed the sheets were dirty.... +++
The only negatives I can think of is that the AC does not make the room cold enough for a spoiled Westerner like me (but most people won't have a problem with that), and the tub on the balcony is still missing it's fixtures. Oh, and the pictures of the racers above the bed was a bit strange. Of course, I wish it was cheaper, but actually the price is probably fair considering the cost of other hotels and how well done this hotel is.
Overall, a beautiful and excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserWe could not say enough nice things about this hotel. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing 10 days which was just what was required after a busy semester at work. The two young ladies and one young man at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind (I only know two of their names, Xiao Luo and Xiao Xiang). They were not over bearing and in our faces ever. They were able to help us with every request we asked for when we wanted or needed something. Having a language barrier was never a problem and they were so attentive to our needs via wechat. They were prepared to help with a driver to any sightseeing you wanted to do. There’s great restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel too. The cleaning staff were very pleasant from the lady around the pool to the lady cleaning our room. Breakfast had two options, noodles or rice congee, it was always served with a great number of side dishes, more than enough choice from cereal, eggs, bread, as well as milk, a number of freshly prepared vegetables. Due to the great breakfast we rarely ate lunch. You just didn’t need to. We rescued a dog while in Xishuangbanna which the reception staff were really helpful with some of the things we needed to do with the dog! We have stayed in many hotels around the world and Lying Cloud was definitely a highlight. Great location, clean and modern room with good amenities, wonderful front desk staff, clean and well maintained pool and outdoor area at a very, very reasonable price. This hotel came recommended to us via a colleague and we would highly recommend it to other foreigners and Chinese friends too!

SShabaniGreat location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

AAnonymous UserThe check in was smooth. Having booked a club room meant breakfast was a quieter experience and we had somewhere other than our room to chill out in if we wanted. Anthony was great because he spoke excellent English (a female colleague also offered lots of help in English but I'm sorry I didn't take her name) The rooms were always clean, the bed very comfortable and a good bath to relax in after busy days exploring. The balcony was good but our room didn't get any direct sunshine so was a little chilly. The hot springs was really relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed! It would be better to have some information in the room about times, locations, amenities etc as we had to ask about shuttle bus services, etc etc. The lounge needed more staff at peak times but we did stay during a peak season...

TTheAngaritasWe booked two rooms in the hotel. One for my children and one for us as a couple. We loved both rooms. The location is suitable and distance friendly to most attractions and the staff members go beyond the normal service to make you feel at home. Adora from the front desk was extremely helpful and caring towards us. She sent us a list of children a activities in the hotel and helped us when feeling sick sending us a basket of fruit and some porridge. She even met us the day we left go give us a present from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious offering many options and the rooms very spacious and clean.
Thank you Adora and Intercontinental hotel - xishuanbanna is beautiful and the hotel is the perfect combination to this trip.

JJEN_老师This was an amazing stay! We checked out early from a different hotel that was a terrible stay, but staying here made the whole trip amazing!
The check-in staff was so sweet, accommodating, and friendly! They quickly brought anything we needed (extra towels, blankets, and slippers) and were very kind.
We also hired a driver for the day, through the hotel (“Mr Zhang” 😍) who was maybe the BEST part of the trip! He took us all over, got us discounts on activities and was a tour guide for them as well! He went above and beyond and we absolutely loved our time with him!
The room was comfortable for 3 people, and had “xiao du” to help with lights and curtains, and honestly provided great entertainment as well.
The location is amazing with food and shops nearby, a spa on the floor below it, and a small grocery/store on the first floor that had all the essentials. It is also very close to the Starlight Night Market, and was exactly where we wanted to be for that.
Breakfasts were wonderful, and they allowed us a late check out and stored our luggage at reception for about an hour before our taxi to the train station.
The only thing that would make the stay even better would be if the very fancy room had some sort of closure to the bathroom. 😂 We managed, and may be slightly closer friends because of it, but it would be nice…
But seriously, the whole stay was amazing and we love love loved them! Will for sure stay here again when we return to Xishuangbanna! 10/5!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. There are delicious food all around. It is very close to the Starlight Night Market. However, the room has a garden view and you can't hear the bustle and noise of the street. It is too friendly to me who is mentally weak. I slept beautifully for 4 nights. , I will stay here next time! Highly recommended!
