"I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Ganthera in Kandy. The service was poor, with staff being unresponsive and unhelpful. The food was extremely subpar, lacking both quality and taste. Cleanliness was a major issue, particularly in the bathroom and pool which were unhygienic. To make matters worse, loud music from the DJ and noise from other guests made it impossible to relax. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay."

Really nice place to stay in kandy if you want to treat yourself. The hotel is clean, staff really friendly and helpful. Room is big with very comfy bed, ac, fan, fridge, kettle and hot water. I asked for a Vegan Breakfast they made me pancakes, toast and fruit which was nice. Its not in kandy centre, good if you like peace and quiet at night. A tuk tuk ride to kandy centre/ train station is about 15 mins and roughly 500 rupees (£1), its not walking distance! Definitely recommend staying here it's not that expensive and worth it after a long day travelling.

We stayed here one night during our visit to Kandy. Even it is a budget category hotel, its facilities are star class. They have an elevator for their small hotel! The room was clean and spacious. It was equipped with an extra bed as we requested. Bathroom is clean and dry but not equipped with toiletries other than a small piece of soap. Food was good. We can request what we like.

The two days we stayed here were very enjoyable. Everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and Very clean. It was very easy to get to the hotel from Kandy city. As this hotel is near the road, it was very easy for us to go to Sigiri the next day. The food here is very good.we had great dinner and breakfast.

A super place where you can stay very comfortably. Kandy city can be reached very quickly. Therefore, we were able to go to the Kandy train station in 10 minutes to catch the train to Ella. Friendly staff full of smiles. Super Sri Lankan breakfast

The two days we stayed at Hotel Ganthera were very comfortable and relaxing. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Super food. The chef prepares food for us in any way we like. Super breakfast.We will definitely be back.
