"Brand new lodge in a very peaceful setting yet close by & easy distance from Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Rooms were lovely, lots of privacy to escape. Food was good quality & freshly prepared although limited options if you are on the set full board/half board. The pool area was very comfortable. The staff, particularly Joseph, Wilson & team were fantastic and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you!"

"This hotel was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Our group of 10 extended family members (ages 2-72) were happily surprised by the beautiful grounds, rooms, pool, bars, and nightly entertainment. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly, especially Neema, the manager. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious, with whirlpool tubs to relax in after a day on safari. Very close to Ngorongo park. Tanzania Specialists tour company booked this hotel for us and it was perfect! The nightly music, acrobatics, and Maasai cultural experience were fun and interesting, too."

"What a lovely experience I had staying at this lodge. The staff was friendly and professional and always had the warmest greetings. The environment and rooms were always clean and safe. The food was immaculate. Feels like home cooked food made with love. We stayed for 2 nights and had absolutely no complaints. We stayed as part of our tours package and therefore, I am not very sure of the price points but whatever it is, they deserve that and more. So I tipped well. Must stay lodge."

"11 of were booked into the Serena for one night. All very good and a beautiful setting above the lake. Huge buffet for food that would suit most people very well and did us proud. Lovely well trained staff who were able to change dollars for local shillings which was very useful. A good choice and everybody in our large group enjoyed it"

"Having complained about the state of the first hotel we were given we were moved to the Peak hotel. To say it was superb is probably an understatement, it was brilliant. Would recommend for a stop over base hotel if touring Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. It could also serve as a breaking point if visiting the Serengeti. Will be back again and again."
