Sakura Port Hotel
"This hotel feels very new, with modern design throughout both the exterior and interior. I stayed in a single room and found it surprisingly spacious for one person. The hotel also provides comfortable sleepwear that can be worn to the public bath, which was a nice touch and very comfortable for sleeping. The automated check-in and check-out process was also very smooth, quick, and easy. Make sure to pick up some amenities at the lobby area before heading up to your room! The location is extremely convenient, just a few steps from the free shuttle stop to Geto Kogen Ski Area. During peak season, the queue can get quite long, so it’s best to arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure a seat on the shuttle."
Montein Hotel
"Room was spacious with clean toilets. Free parking was great."
ANA Holiday Inn Iwate Kitakami by IHG
"Stayed here for a business trip up north. Getting the breakfast-included plan was a great decision – it was delicious and had a wide variety of options. It's a shame the public bath is only open from 5-8 AM in the morning. It was disappointing not to be able to use it, as I often wake up at 7 AM, eat breakfast, and then go for a bath. Overall, it was a good stay."
Comfort Hotel Kitakami
"The location is great as it's just right across the JR station. I stayed at 4 different hotels and i love their breakfast the most among the four hotels as they have mixed grain rice and fresh juices. They have two menus and swap it everyday so it's not that bad if you have longer stay, and I stayed 5 nights. Free parking is included. Room is a bit small but still sufficient to lay out my snowboard luggagage and still have space to walk around the room."
Semi Onsen
"Stayed there for 9 days The location is halfway up the mountain It’s about ten minutes’ drive from Xiayou Plateau Ski Resort. The environment is very comfortable The meals that come with the room are not bad, but they are a bit boring to eat every day. If you eat out, you need to inform the front desk that you will not be dining in the hotel. However, the fact that no meal charges are not refunded makes people feel a little upset. Everything else is fine Hot spring pools are very diverse It’s best to soak in an open-air hot spring on a snowy day"
Toyoko Inn Kitakami Eki Shinkansen Guchi
"Good points: The staff are polite. Free curry rice at night. You can take as many amenities as you like. Bad points: The walls are thin, and you can hear voices, coughs, and sounds of daily life like hair dryers from the next room. The worst is snoring. If you get unlucky with the next room, you won't be able to sleep at night."
Green Hotel Kitakami
"The building itself is old, so there's nothing that can be done about that, but several male staff members (I didn't see any women) were very polite to the guests. I was able to stay for a cheap price, and there were restaurants such as izakayas and bars nearby, so I was satisfied."
APA Hotel Kitakami-Ekinishi
"It was good normal, no bad place"
JR-East Hotel Mets Kitakami
"Hotel next to JR station, very convenience although train schedule was not that frequent."
