Avra Imperial Hotel ★★★★★
"Absolutely top-notch staff service! The dining was also superb, and the views were incredibly stunning. The only issue was that the elevator in the lobby frequently malfunctioned, getting stuck and not opening its doors unless someone pressed the button from the outside. As for hardware, the power outlets on the walls in the room were a bit loose. Other hardware was fine."
Galini Palace Resort Hotel ★★★★★
"Was not the best hotel, very outdated but still a good affordable hotel in Crete. We booked it last minute and had all inclusive. Great family hotel and a decent location."
Villa Gereoudis Sea View Rooms Pool & Bar ★★★
Euphoria Resort - All Inclusive ★★★★★
"Very nice hotel, perfect pool access suite. Luxury family-friendly hotel with a fantastic kids' club team! The children's water playground is fantastic. Very large and beautiful pool! The staff is very friendly! A little something for my daughter's 3rd birthday! The all-inclusive is very good! With the added bonus of à la carte dinners 👌 I highly recommend this hotel! We stayed 6 nights. Everything was perfect!"
Selini Suites & Waterpark ★★★★
"Firstly we really did enjoy our holiday especially visiting chania however the hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The Pros first were, our room had a beautiful sea view. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and it had a bus stop right outside the hotel making transport easy. However there were a lot more cons, the alcoholic drinks were extremely watered down to the point it felt like you were just drinking pop and not wine. There also seemed to be a lot of preferential Treatment, It was noticeable that guests who paid extra for certain upgrades, like premium cocktails, received more attention than those with all-inclusive packages with my mum being ignored at the bar for multiple minutes whilst the bar staff chatted to those who paid the extra bit for close to 5 min, which felt a bit unfair. One of the worst parts was the early Morning noise there was consistently loud noises early every morning around 7 AM. There were constant sounds of hammering, scraping chairs, and banging, which made it difficult to sleep in and enjoy our vacation, we realised they were having construction done above us which we weren't told about. The fire alarm went off 3 times late at night and we heard nothing from reception about what was going on, I had to run down and ask and was shrugged off saying it was just a problem in the kitchen. the alarm then went off again at 7am which woke us up, when we asked them again after breakfast the receptionist just smirked and said it was a little problem, my mum then told him they should've really let us know what was happening because multiple fire alarms going off is scary, he carried on smirking and only when my mum started to get mad did he apologise. There were a few problems as well with the room, the door firstly was extremely stiff, when locking it from the inside the lock just seemed to keep spinning, maybe 4 or 5 full turns before it locked. There was a kettle with cups but no tea coffee sugar or milk which we found weird because why have the facilities for it? the shower was a walk in one with just a small glass barrier that didn't reach fully across, this meant that everytime we showered it practically flooded the bathroom, the shower head also looked very dirty. At night there was also a weird crackling noise constantly which was either coming from the TV or the air con we couldn't figure out which. One of the days when I went to use the self serve drink machine it seemed there were ants either In the machine or in the cups you grab from the side. Also upon arrival there was a lack of Information given, they took our passports for a couple of hours, we were given a list for meal times and then given the key, we had to ask for the safe information which was free he just forgot to tell us, we then had to ask other guests where we went to dinner as we didn't know since during the day the area was closed off. The food was extremely limited and repetitive, they had basic salad bar which wasnt covered up so often "
Aphea Village ★★★
"This hotel gives you good greek vibes! Love the atmosphere here, with lovely quotes around the pool area. Friendly staff, booth the housekeeping, in the reception- and the man in the bar and the women in the kitchen. Super good greek food, and other dishes in the bar. Perfect for booth solo traveling, with friends, coupels or your family. 7 minutes walk from a Nice and quite beach with free sunbeds (if you just be something from the restaurant that owns the sunbeds). Me and my friend likes kolymbari so much. We got a quite and realaxing vacation here at Apeha Village- and isnt that what We all want? Also want to say that bus to Platanias and Chania (same bus) works perfecly! 3,6 euro per person, and the bus was always on time."
CHC Galini Palace ★★★★★
"Amazing location if you want a quite relaxing holiday, the atmosphere is a friendly environment and just the right balance of music entertainment and calmness the water park has 4-6 different slides catering for all ages. we are in a swim up room, the room itself is lovely, my only negative would be depending on what side of the building youre on determines how much sun you get by the pool, its either morning sun or afternoon if youre here to sun yourself you need to split your day into two by the main pool and yours, seats are mostly available all day by the big pool along with the water slides and childrens pool. Value for money id say is a little on the tighter side, yes its a lovely establishment but the food and drink quality falls short of 5* for me personally, it feels a task to get food by the pool pars with the cutlery and paper bowls provided the drinks are not the best tasting from soft to alcohol. The main restaurant has been hit and miss for evening dinners and breakfast too. Its a very mediocre level of food. The cleanliness is top notch, everything is very clean other than the pool toilets. Noise levels are normal, go where you want for what vibe within the hotel. Staff are amazing with the service they provide really try their best always happy always smiling very child friendly. For me personally it did not blow me away however did not entirely disappoint me a lovely hotel that needs a few tweaks to really make it feel 5* a strong 4* with potential to be out and out 5*"
Xristinas Seaside Apartments ★★★★
Alonia Hotel Apartments ★★★
"We returned to Alonia after a seven-year interval and it was just as lovely as before. The beds are very comfortable. The firm mattresses seemed new. The beds were very large, being made of two singles pushed together. We had AC as well as a fan so we were comfortable all through the exceptionally hot weather (32°). The pool was great and the food from the bar was very tasty and generous. The WiFi was good. The staff treated us like old friends and were attentive and helpful. We will certainly stay here again."
