"Absolutely top-notch staff service! The dining was also superb, and the views were incredibly stunning. The only issue was that the elevator in the lobby frequently malfunctioned, getting stuck and not opening its doors unless someone pressed the button from the outside. As for hardware, the power outlets on the walls in the room were a bit loose. Other hardware was fine."

"I have never seen a hotel like this. The hotel is dirty and poorly maintained. We left the hotel after one night because it disgusted us so much. The shower head sprayed onto the electricity as soon as we turned it on. The water in the hotel is not drinkable. The rooms are old and very damaged and the beds are not comfortable. I do not recommend this hotel unless you want to spend your money to not be able to sleep at night and have a vacation that is not relaxing."

"We returned to Alonia after a seven-year interval and it was just as lovely as before. The beds are very comfortable. The firm mattresses seemed new. The beds were very large, being made of two singles pushed together. We had AC as well as a fan so we were comfortable all through the exceptionally hot weather (32°). The pool was great and the food from the bar was very tasty and generous. The WiFi was good. The staff treated us like old friends and were attentive and helpful. We will certainly stay here again."
