It is the setting! So close to the beach, just along from a village, with the constant comforting noise of the sea. The rooms are fine, the restaurant is airy and comfortable, and I see they're working on the pool. You can do volleyball, laze in the sun, enjoy a coconut harvested and prepared locally, go along and see the amazing fishing craft, like war canoes, or just walk, swim, sit, sleep and be happy.

We got a free upgrade on arrival to a double room with balcony and sea view. Location is very good, just next to a lovely beach. Beach is public but quiet and locals do not pester you. Miles of lovely, generally clean, beach on either side of the hotel. Hotel was very helpful to arrange affordable trips to Kakum National Park, trips to Cape Coast / Elmina castles and the airport. Balcony sea view was very lovely. The whole place is laid back with very helpful staff, making you feel safe and relaxed. Restaurant food was well prepared and tasty with a good choice. Facilities are old or not present. Restaurant tables are old, plastic, very basic and dated. No bathroom towels or toiletries, so bring your own! Room beddings not changed. Suite with balcony and sea view felt tight and small for 2 people. Balcony does not have privacy from hotel courtyard area. Beach side chairs are old and not clean. Breakfast was very basic. No restaurants nearby, so you have to take your meals in the hotel, though the dinner menu was good and affordable.
