"Lovely, special place with a truly lovely, accommodating staff. I don't remember everyone's names (apologies!) but the reception staff is top notch...Benjamin's great laugh, combined with how he avails himself to help out guests, makes him all the more memorable. The best thing about the breakfast buffet is Chef Sam's omelets and, again, that pervasive desire to accommodate. While no exercise equipment of any kind disappoints, this is worth checking out. I have returned here on many an occasion....and will continue to."

"I'm aware that for the price, you can't expect too much. Positive points: - Location - Free parking - Rooms with pleasant and functional furnishings - Welcoming staff. A special mention for Marie, who was very pleasant and friendly. Negative points: - Cleaning service: rooms were very dusty; for two days there was vomit in the stairwell on the first floor, and no one did anything about it. The smell on the carpet was very unpleasant. - My room in particular had two defects: the window wasn't adjusted, letting in cold air. A piece of furniture had been torn off with a sharp screw sticking outwards. I cut my hand. - It's a shame the dining area isn't functional enough outside of breakfast time. In the evening, it's not even lit, and having a few place settings would be a good idea."
