The hotel is located near Shijo Omiya Station. Opposite Shijo Omiya Station is the Arashi Railway, which can be taken to Arashiyama. For the price, this hotel is really cheap. The space is relatively small and you cannot open two suitcases at the same time. The room is clean. It's a 2-minute walk to the railway station, but a little far from the lively area. There is a convenience store downstairs, but there is no place to go shopping. The location is good can assess with bus or Hankyu railway line. hotel facility has Laundry machine and ice machine which is a must in summer. Staff is very nice and supportive to travelers.
