"Have previously found this establishment perfectly acceptable. However my recent visit was marred by senior management staff who have clearly reached their level of incompetence expertly known as the "Peter Principal". The establishment has previously been delighted to welcome our puppy indeed the children I understand to be related to the "Peter Principal" candidate enjoyed the puppy. Now 6 months old puppy squeaked maybe 3 times when in restaurant. We were instructed to leave the restaurant as a consequence, only two other couples in the almost empty dinning room ...none of the dinners made any complaint! Clearly this establishment is now removed from my list of recommendations."

"A great location off the central Monpazier square. The beautiful building has been beautifully updated by an Italian architect. The old wooden stair case is stunning, and the modern features work well with the old beauty of the building. We were in room 107, which was nice and clean, and long and thin, with a large bed and access to a table on the communal terrace and a small kitchenette and fridge in the room. This suited us well very well. This was their 'comfy' mid space category, if you want more space go for a 'spacey', or smaller is 'chic'. We had a 4 night stay, there was no house keeping in this time but they let you know that when you check in, and this was fine with us. The pool is a bonus. We were very grateful they had availability last minute as we had had a problem with the self catering villa we had booked elsewhere. The staff were very helpful and we had a fabulous time exploring this beautiful area. Thank you Hotel Le Chevalier Bleu - we hope to return!"

The owners are very professional and give their customers a warm welcome. Many people come back to this beautiful place, just a few minutes away from Limeuil historic centre."
