Hotels near Sydney Eastern Suburbs in Sydney

This hotel is only 1 year old. It is located in the centre of Bondi Junction, an excellent location for shopping, places to eat, travel links to Sydney city centre, the airport and beaches. It is very clean, modern and has a large communal kitchen, gym, laundry, ground floor courtyard, rooftop garden (with an amazing view) and a water dispenser on each floor for the convenience of the residents. All rooms, although very compact, are identical having an ensuite shower with a King-size bed containing storage drawers underneath, tv, table and chair, microwave, fridge, kettle, safe, air conditioning and small cupboard for hanging clothes. Lights, curtains and blinds are controlled by a panel next to the bed. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant Bonnibel (also open to the public) on the ground floor which is open all day. Residents opting for bed and breakfast are treated to a buffet-style breakfast with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, hot foods, juices and hot drinks. A good amount of choice and quite tasty too. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and the general atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and welcoming. The only downside that I found was the layout of the bed. It literally spanned the whole width of the room with no space to walk around it. This meant if two people shared the room, one of the guests would have to climb over the other to get into/out of the bed - not ideal.

I really enjoyed staying here ! The staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice. I had a room for myself it was a bit small for my liking but I knew I was gonna be out all day so it was fine for me. The beds are super comfy and the shared bathrooms were clean as well. Plus point for having a laundry space in the back as well so you can wash your stuff. The mall is nearby , the bus stop as well and bondi beach was a 20 min walk. I would totally book here again !

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times, and it’s always been great. The location is super convenient, the rooms are clean and have everything you need, including a kitchen. The staff are really friendly and always make you feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very spacious suites that have everything you need, small but nice gym. There is a construction going on just opposite Tower 2 where I stayed, so it was a little noisy. Bathroom needed better cleaning and some furniture in the kitchen was run-down but all in all a very decent place to stay in close proximity to Bondi beach, shops and restaurant. Good value for money.

The room is very clean and has a small yard. The layout is quite good. There are just no disposable slippers. If necessary, you should prepare them yourself. Also, the room is not cleaned every day, and coffee and tea bags are not added every day. I guess they are afraid of disturbing customers. However, tell the front desk your requirements and they will clean and add them in time. I am not good at speaking, so we write a note to the front desk every day. In addition, the front desk is unmanned before 8 am and after 6 pm local time, which is very different from China. So be sure to bring the room card with you, in case you can't get in if you come back late. Overall, it is very good and cost-effective.

The hotel is easy to walk to Bondi Junction train station, nearby restaurants and shopping centers, supermarkets. The room was larger than expected, with cooking facilities, but the bathroom was relatively small. The room has an iron.  The TV is not a smart TV and can only watch local channels. There is a self-service laundry room on the 5th floor. The hotel requires a room card to enter the main door after 8pm. If you check in after 8pm, you need to press the doorbell or call the counter, but it is possible that the counter cannot hear the change of ringtone. The counter was sometimes unattended in the evening, and calls to the counter from the room were not answered.

Lovely place. It’s in a great location and the communications to get in and know the rules are very well done. It’s really hot in the room and the fan helps a little but ac would be better in a place like Oz. The room was great and breed comfy. The only complaint is that it was quite dusty. You can see the layers of dust on the walls and I have an allergy to it so my nose was popping off constantly. Slider was okay but not a great shower head. Great value for money overall for certain needs.

Stayed last night and a number of times in the past. I love the Blue. Great location - great rooms with a great vibe. It’s a bit quirky parking and getting to the room the first time - but then you realise what a great set up it is. The self service breakfast and chill out room is wonderful. Boulangerie and pizzas down stairs. Bars and restaurants and Harris Farm supermarkets just round the corner. Bikini bar just down the road as you walk to the best beach in the World. Please don’t go there so I’ll still be able to get a room in the future.

Hostel is so much fun and there’s activities every night to get to know people !!! Bathrooms and bedrooms are so clean and nice

The hotel was lovely and very well looked after but the best part is how easy the check in was. We arrived around 4:30pm and the whole check in process was texted to me well beforehand. This included how to enter the car park, how to obtain our room key and how to reenter the building if returning after normal hours. It was all so straightforward and stress-free. We will definitely stay once more if in the area again.
