"We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!"

"Hotel itself is ok, however, checkin was denied even 2 hours after confirmed booking as hotel did not have our booking info. We have to call 3 different Trip.com toll free numbers for help but each of them said 'not my department' and gave us another number to make the next unsuccessful call. It took just about 1 hour to finally sort out the checkin issue. Then sometimes later, I got another confirmation with a revised booking number, the previous one got lost? This event has left a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately will make me hesitate to book thru Trip.com next time."

"We booked this hotel for the adults only pool, being that it was March break they allowed children into the adults only pool (as well as there being a children’s pool). We would have liked this information beforehand as the pool was the reason for booking. We were only able to get access to the pool between 10-11pm. Otherwise hotel was very clean, we had a standard queen room which was really nice with a comfortable bed. Bathroom needs some renovations, especially the bath/shower situation. We enjoyed our stay but we feel that information about the pool should have been known upfront and not made aware to us upon check in"

"Although the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, its excellent location is incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious enough, and amenities are comprehensive, with great housekeeping service. It's also very close to landmarks like the University of Toronto, and there's a significant Chinese presence in the area. Various Asian eateries, including Heytea, are abundant, making it suitable for Chinese guests."

"The room was quite spacious, theoretically able to accommodate three people, which made it great value for money, but that was pretty much its only redeeming quality. Downsides: 1. No complimentary bottled water. 2. I booked a king-sized bed, but they gave me a twin room (claiming the price was the same, and when I went to check out a king room, there were a bunch of hairdryers being used, so I had no choice but to stay in the twin). 3. I stayed for two nights, and after the first night, no one cleaned the room or changed the towels on the second day (thankfully, I was staying alone and still had some to use). So, the low rating is definitely warranted."

"Facilities: Hilton's quality is top-notch, and the room has a mini-fridge. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: The external environment is amazing! It's in the city center, feels like a food street, with all sorts of delicious food right outside. Service: The front desk and restaurant staff provided excellent service."

"Considering it's a hostel, the bed creaked every time I moved, which made me feel a bit self-conscious. It was a blizzard that day, and the staff were wonderful for letting me stay even before check-in. Aside from the outdated facilities, it seems like a good place for a short stay."

"Flying from Calgary to Toronto, I arrived in the city in the morning, feeling tired and sleepy. The front desk staff was very helpful and checked if there was a room ready for an early check-in, even asking if I'd be okay with a room near the elevator. You can request toiletries from the front desk, and the breakfast was quite good too. The hotel's location is excellent – within walking distance to Union Station, King Station, the Hockey Hall of Fame, St. Lawrence Market, the Eaton Centre, a building that looks like Wukang Mansion, and a cinema. James Cathedral Park is right outside the door. It was a fantastic stay for a solo trip!"
