Sitting pretty in Toronto's iconic Bloor - Yorkville neighbourhood on Bloor Street, in the indie-cool-meets-approachable-luxury Annex neighbourhood, Kimpton Saint George’s refined bohemian spirit reflects its surroundings. Design details -- natural materials, rich textures and irreverent artwork -- create a sense of sophistication with a little edge. The atmosphere is intimate and intriguing, inviting you to explore the true Toronto, where a history of craftsmanship merges with an evolving identity as a dynamic modern hub.

The room was clean. I had hoped for a room with a bathtub, but it seems to be assigned randomly, so I got a shower-only room. The view wasn't great (I could see a large building under construction), but the room was sunny. There's a restaurant on the first floor which I used for dinner and breakfast before leaving. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. There was a mini-fridge, but it didn't cool very well. In the mornings, there's self-service coffee and tea in the lobby. I heard there's also a wine service in the evenings, but I didn't get to use it as the timing didn't work out. The location is good, and the surrounding area is safe and relatively clean.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the lobby and rooms are spacious. Having a simple coffee machine and kitchen access is a great plus. However, there were a few minor downsides: the lobby heating was insufficient, the shower head couldn't be adjusted, and the water pressure was low, resulting in a weak flow. On one occasion, the room wasn't tidied and the trash wasn't emptied, which, while not ruining the overall experience, was a bit odd for hotel service. Overall, the hotel is decent. But if it costs over $1300 a night with these issues, the value for money is questionable, and whether it's worth that price needs to be considered.

The room was clean, cozy, and had good soundproofing. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. However, a fire alarm went off around midnight, scaring me sleepless. I was too afraid to stay and too afraid to leave. Later, I thought that since the room was on the third floor, jumping out wouldn't be too bad, until the alarm was cleared! I couldn't fall back asleep until morning.

This is a University of Toronto student dormitory, likely rented out to non-students during the summer break when many students move out. Access is by key card, so security and hygiene are good. The vanity had two disposable cups and a small bar of soap, tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, along with bath towels, face towels, and hand towels. The bathroom had one roll of toilet paper, and the closet contained three wire hangers. There were no water cups or toothbrush cups. On the second day, I asked the front desk for disposable cups and garbage bags but was told they were out. There's no toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, slippers, hairdryer, kettle, fridge, microwave, or safe. When I checked in, I asked to borrow a hairdryer and was told they'd have one in the morning. However, when I went back the next day, they said I needed a student ID as collateral to borrow it. The communal kitchen and washing machines are for students only. If you stay long-term, cleaning is provided once every seven days; otherwise, you're on your own. When booking, pay close attention, as some rooms don't have private bathrooms. Make sure to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, hairdryer, and kettle. A universal travel adapter (like a Bull brand one) would be very useful. Just one block to the left is a 7-Eleven. A bit further down is a larger supermarket with fresh produce, milk, eggs, bread, fruit, and other daily necessities. It's about 1 km to both the University of Toronto and Chinatown, making them easily walkable. The Royal Ontario Museum is about 1 km away, and the Art Gallery of Ontario is just under 2 km. Lake Ontario is about 5-6 km away as the crow flies. The room facilities are very convenient for students. I'm not sure if it's open to non-students outside of academic breaks.

The room was spacious with a great view and a convenient location, within walking distance to the Eaton Centre and Union Station, surrounded by major corporations like KPMG. The deposit was refunded quickly; the pre-authorization was released instantly upon check-out, unlike other hotels in North America where it can take up to two weeks.

The hotel is located near College Station, which makes transportation incredibly convenient – the location is pretty good. Room cleanliness was average, but the facilities are quite old. The downside is the soundproofing is really poor; I frequently heard noise. Also, the Wi-Fi is terrible and often wouldn't connect. Breakfast options were standard and didn't change daily, but it tasted pretty good. Overall, the hotel service was quite thoughtful.

The breakfast alone and the luggage storage service made this stay worthwhile, effectively making the accommodation and showers free. Plus, you can use the kitchen and other facilities. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended. To get to Niagara Falls, you can take Flixbus. Once you reach the final stop, hop on the WEGO bus to Niagara Falls. The ride to the falls itself is free. It's about a 3km walk if you prefer. The park around the falls doesn't require an entrance fee, and if you're not doing any additional attractions, you can see everything in about 2 hours.

The hotel's breakfast area offers hot beverages all day, a signature feature of the Wingate by Wyndham. It's a great spot to work in the evenings, much better than being cooped up in the room. The staff are enthusiastic, and room cleaning is very diligent. They also offer free luggage storage. The only downsides are the monotonous breakfast and the noisy, aging heater in the room.

Everything was alright for my second stay, but the check-in service was disappointing for a Hilton brand. Around 3–4pm, only one counter was available and guests had to wait. A manager was walking around apologising, but I noticed she offered water and explanations to others (like pilots and another guest) while I was only told to wait. Later, when my check-in was done, she simply brought me my luggage without explaining hotel facilities, unlike how she treated the other guest. This made me feel slightly disrespected, and as an Asian guest I couldn’t help but wonder if it was discrimination. Apart from this, the hotel itself was fine, but service standards need improvement.

Great: 1. Unbeatable location. That stretch of Bloor St W has restaurants, coffee shops, used bookstores (my favorite!), and more. Subway station, streetcars, and a Bike Share Toronto hub just around the corner. Christie Pits park nearby. Incredibly walkable. 2. Clean room and useful amenities. Love that slippers were available from the amenities closet. (Slippers seem to be common in hotels in Asia, so I was delighted to find them here.) 2. Responsive customer service. My room had a small issue (intermittent loud buzzing sound of mysterious origin in the night). When I raised this with the Nomas WhatsApp number, Umesh was responsive and offered to move me into a different room. Thankfully the sound eventually vanished after a couple nights! I have no opinion on: 1. Bellis. I didn't eat at the Bellis bar (mainly because I wanted to check out the other offerings nearby). 2. Lockers. I didn't try the lockers, but they looked useful. I saw someone describe this hotel along the lines of ”it's a bar with hallways and rooms.” Isn't that what all hotels are, ultimately? Could be better: 1. My room was near the washrooms for the bar. At night, shrieky bar customers would congregate near the washrooms to chat. Had to get up to shut the soundproofing hallway door a couple of times. Not too big of a deal because the soundproofing is effective. I'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing
GGuest UserBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

LLimGreat location, easy check in / check out, amazing views from very high floor of a 50-story condominium. I was able to check in at 3PM and the place was very clean. 24 hour security at the lobby and 24 hour concierge on 5th floor. There is a large public parking lot right across the street that is safe and easy to use. Starbucks & Tim Horton’s is right downstairs, and Dundas Square is literally a 6 minute walk away. TTati11I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing. It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.

GGuest UserFirst of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown. However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert. The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures. Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.
