I love this hotel. It's a great price, in a convenient location (to Uber around the city) and has great amenities. They have a bar on sight (it's simple but the menu is great). They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner there too, which you can get to-go and bring to your room. The outdoor and indoor pools are both very nice - especially the indoor pool. It's very unique and aesthetic. The hallways may be a little dated but again the price and the amenities far surpassed that detail. Some rooms even have balcony access to get some fresh air from your room which is really neat. This has been our go-to hotel when we head to the city to see a concert/show.

Considering it's a hostel, the bed creaked every time I moved, which made me feel a bit self-conscious. It was a blizzard that day, and the staff were wonderful for letting me stay even before check-in. Aside from the outdated facilities, it seems like a good place for a short stay.

The hotel is located near College Station, which makes transportation incredibly convenient – the location is pretty good. Room cleanliness was average, but the facilities are quite old. The downside is the soundproofing is really poor; I frequently heard noise. Also, the Wi-Fi is terrible and often wouldn't connect. Breakfast options were standard and didn't change daily, but it tasted pretty good. Overall, the hotel service was quite thoughtful.

The staff were very polite and respectful, which we appreciated. However, there were several issues during the stay.
The app states that the security deposit can be paid in cash, but when we arrived, the staff seemed reluctant to accept a cash deposit, which was confusing and inconvenient.
The room was definitely not very clean, though it was still manageable. The air conditioning does not work — only wall fans are available. The hotel is also quite noisy 24 hours a day, making it hard to sleep. In addition, the lower part of the hotel is under repairs, and the noise from that also disturbs guests at night.
The location is okay, but the street is rarely cleared of snow, which can make access difficult.
Overall, the staff are kind, but the comfort and facilities could be improved.

The hotel's breakfast area offers hot beverages all day, a signature feature of the Wingate by Wyndham. It's a great spot to work in the evenings, much better than being cooped up in the room. The staff are enthusiastic, and room cleaning is very diligent. They also offer free luggage storage. The only downsides are the monotonous breakfast and the noisy, aging heater in the room.

The stay in Canopy was good overall - The hotel was quiet and clean. The wifi was good. Also, close to a metro station of Sherbourne. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and prompt to address the requirement I need.
Our room type was ”two queen beds room”, it's adequate in size with a clean and bright, minimalist swedish design that i found quite appealing. i must admit i was a little disappointed by the lack of any view - just the windows of the neighboring apartment building. My favorite amenities were the drawer refrigerator, which was big enough for putting the stuffs what we bought but of course there are your standard amenities too - espresso maker, electric tea kettle. I should also mention that there's a glass bottle available for water that you need to fetch out in the lobby of the floor, where the water dispenser is. It's no inconvenience at all but it's environmentally friendly.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the lobby and rooms are spacious. Having a simple coffee machine and kitchen access is a great plus. However, there were a few minor downsides: the lobby heating was insufficient, the shower head couldn't be adjusted, and the water pressure was low, resulting in a weak flow. On one occasion, the room wasn't tidied and the trash wasn't emptied, which, while not ruining the overall experience, was a bit odd for hotel service. Overall, the hotel is decent. But if it costs over $1300 a night with these issues, the value for money is questionable, and whether it's worth that price needs to be considered.

The environment is pretty good, as expected from a new hotel. However, you can't park your car yourself; you have to use the hotel's valet service, which costs $55 a night. I've never seen such an expensive parking fee, especially when you're staying at the hotel. There were some yellowish unknown liquid stains on the bed, but the rest of the cleanliness was acceptable. I've given up on having high expectations for hotels in Toronto; if you want cleanliness, you have to choose places like the St. Regis or Four Seasons.

Overall a good hotel and would book there again. They don’t have smart tv’s in the room so was unable to stream Netflix or any of those. A microwave in the room would be handy too

Friendly staff at front desk, smooth check-in. There’s everything you need in the sparkly clean room even though i stayed the smallest room. Laundry is available. Location is excellent. There is a 24-hour convenience store cross the main street. The neighborhood is lovely. Really enjoyed the stay. Will consider comeback next time.

Great
AAnonymous UserOverall, it was a great stay with excellent value for money, and the room was clean. It's very close to the airport, about a 10-minute drive. The only downside was waiting for the shuttle at the airport for half an hour, but it never showed up.😹
VVivian Dewi ShenRequested the newly renovated room instead of non renovated. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly to let us check in at 1.30pm as our rooms was ready. Eventhough we didnt get the connecting room as we requested but we were happy enough to let us an early check in.
AAlanSpivackA great hotel in a prime location. The Radisson Blu is situated right on the harbor. It is surrounded by iconic locations, great restaurants and attractions. The CN tower and Roger Center are just a few minutes walk. You can walk along the harbor boardwalk or sit in a nice cafe and watch planes take off and land at the small island airport just across the water.
GGuest UserCame to Toronto for a conference and booked this apartment a few days in advance. It wasn't cheap and didn't include breakfast, but I chose it for its proximity. I didn't have high expectations, but after checking in, I felt it was excellent value for money. It's on the 44th floor, the highest level with a balcony, and the sky is directly overhead – the view is perfect! I just felt the safety could be a bit better, as it's completely open.
LLimGreat location, easy check in / check out, amazing views from very high floor of a 50-story condominium. I was able to check in at 3PM and the place was very clean. 24 hour security at the lobby and 24 hour concierge on 5th floor. There is a large public parking lot right across the street that is safe and easy to use. Starbucks & Tim Horton’s is right downstairs, and Dundas Square is literally a 6 minute walk away. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!
JJade JoengI was very satisfied with my stay at Samesun. The best part was the communal kitchen, where you could cook your own meals, and there was free breakfast every morning, including milk, bread, and fruit. I also took the opportunity to visit the Art Gallery of Ontario to see the John Lennon photography exhibition. Overall, it was a very satisfying travel experience.
TTati11I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo.
Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing.
It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.
GGuest UserI saw the address and door of the apartment, but I actually got the key from the supermarket. The apartment is relatively new, with three rooms, two bathrooms and three beds. The decoration, furniture and appliances are all new, suitable for families.
GGuest UserFirst of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown.
However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert.
The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures.
Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.
LLele61The hotel seems old and cramped. The room is not spacious and the facilities are average, just enough to stay in. The air conditioner is quite noisy and there are only two towels in the bathroom.
