The service was super good. When I reported the two red lights in the room, the service staff immediately sent two people, one male and one female, to check and deal with it immediately. The room was very clean and the facilities were very good.

On the fourth day of hiking around the island, I stayed at Nantou Backpackers B&B. Because of my relationship with Maomao, I had to find a pet-friendly accommodation. There was an extra 300 yuan pet cleaning fee, but no matter where I went, I would help Maomao wipe her feet. Only when it was clean did she let her in.

小細節可能是風扇及陽台可能還是要作清潔～
車位就比較可惜，有在平台備注但好像沒有預約到，要走一段路停在7-11…帶孩子跟老年人不太方便…
公共區域沒有包棟不能使用滿可惜的…因為房間沒有比較舒適的座位…

There is no elevator in the accommodation, so it is inconvenient to bring a baby. There is a free parking lot. It is about a 2-minute walk from the accommodation. There are ultraviolet disinfection pots, sinks and water dispensers in the public area.

GGuest UserAs with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

GGuest UserGreat hostel right in the main streets of ita Thao. The bus stop is just up the road and there is shops and small restaurants right outside.
The staff were lovely and very helpful- always smiling and greeting us as we passed.
The capsule was spacious for a double bed capsule with space to leave some belongings beside the bed. It had good A/C, was very clean and even has a small window which was nice. The bed was comfortable and it was secure with the key card lock.
The dorms were nice and quiet. The floor had a lovely bathroom with good shower facilities. Lockers were big and fit all our backpacks. Also has a nice lounging area on the floor as well. The rooftop area seemed lovely if the weather allowed.
Washing machines and driers were old and didn’t dry our clothes properly so maybe use the launderette in the town instead.
The kitchen area was clean and spacious and has a massive tv. Little extras such as umbrellas outside, slippers for the room and the music area are an added bonus.
Would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to sun moon lake. It is modern and great value for money for a hostel.

AArtLLocation is super convenient, barely 50m from the 7-eleven and SML's Nantou Bus Ticketing counter where Nantou Bus 6670 from Taichung drop passengers. The ground floor of the B&B is a elegantly decorated tea-shop and had a pleasant whiff of red-dates chinese tea, very welcoming on a hot day. Our room was nicely renovated, very cosy and clean, well laid out, with Taiwan cable channels and Youtube smart TV box. It has modern toilet fittings and very refreshing lightly scented shampoo and body wash in dispensers. The lady at the counter (小芸) was absolutely helpful. She sold us discounted ferry tickets compared to buying from the counters at the pier, explained activities to do and places to visit and boat/bus routes around SML when we arrived and gave us a WhatsApp to contact her for any queries. She also advised us to visit Itashao to taste the street foods for lunch and recommend places for dinner through WhatsApp after returning to Shiushe without pushing us to visit the restaurants nor buy tea from the shop. Truly warm ********* hospitality and the best part of staying in this B&B.

The location is great, and the views are fantastic. 👍 Room D54, a quadruple room, was simple and comfortable, but occasionally there was a smell of smoke inside? 🚬 Perhaps guests in the cabins below were smoking? The non-smoking policy 🚭 should probably be emphasized during check-in. Breakfast was very generous, with both Chinese and Western options, though the coffee quality and taste could be improved. The fresh fruit was a nice touch! 👍 The only major downside was the excessive number of flies 🪰! Is that the sheep's fault? 😆 Big thanks to the handsome guy at the front desk for recommending the Yunnan restaurant! ❤️

However, the carpet in the room and in the common areas are quite dated and does not meet current standards. An update would significantly improve the overall comfort and impression of the room. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay thanks to the location and service, but some room upgrades—particularly the carpet—would make a noticeable difference.

AAbby KuoThe room was clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is ideally located in Shuishe, a stop for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, offering convenient transportation while still being quiet. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center where you can catch the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and the round-the-lake bus. Since there aren't many shops or food stalls in Shuishe at night, we chose a room package that included dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style at the hotel, allowing us to relax and enjoy, offering great value for money. The in-room bathtub was perfect for a hot soak, which was very convenient. The service was excellent, and both my friend and I were very satisfied. We'd be happy to book this hotel again next time.

AAmmber安波Awesome! They offer free bicycles for cycling around the lake. B3 has a game room with table tennis and billiards, plus a free basketball arcade machine. The gym has treadmills and spin bikes. The lake view rooms face the beautiful lake. The quad room even has a Japanese-style tatami room. Excellent value for money. It's only a 15-minute walk from Shuishe Pier, super convenient if you get hungry late at night!

GGuest UserThe hotel is considerably cheaper than others in the area with similar-looking rooms and it is brilliantly-located right at the lakefront and only 2 minutes away from the bus terminal.
The staff is very friendly and you even get a discount voucher for the nearby bike rental.
I booked a room without a window and got one with two windows which is absolutely appreciated. I even had a very large bathroom with a gorgeous and huge bathtub which was an unexpected luxury.
Overall the room is clean and comfortable. The AC works perfectly, the bed is comfortable enough for a few days, and the the linen and towels were fresh.
The interior is dated which didn't bother me me much because it was still as clean as dated interior can get and therefore definitely clean enough for me and for most travellers. I actually kinda liked the old charme.
The walls are thin, though it doesn't matter so much because there aren't many rooms per floor.
The breakfast was surprisingly nice and located in another hotel right at the lakefront so that you have stunning views!
