Hotels near Sijiaoting Train Station in New Taipei City

The owners were super nice and very helpful, providing great recommendations for places to see and travel directions. The room itself was very unique, featuring a cute enclosed sunroom on top of a nice balcony, offering a great view of the ocean. The location is very convenient, near bus stops. The owner even helped take our luggage down to the bus station without us even asking! The free breakfast was great and healthy. I would definitely stay here again if I travel to the area and highly recommend it.

After coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time. Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊 Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away. ⸻ ⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe. Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃. 🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy) Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here. If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

It's a standard double bed room, quite spacious and comfortable, I like our own shower room more (privacy and cleanliness) as compared to the bathing and onsen facilities on the 17th floor. It takes 7-10 minutes walking distance to the nearby metro stations which is acceptable. The hotel has 2 restaurants but we prefer dining out. The hotel does not have fitness room/gym . Instead I paid NT$100 to go to the nearby fitness centre. It's not that convenient for the hotel guests. Should consider setting up its own fitness room, my humble opinion.

Stayed at this homestay in Jiufen and had a pleasant experience. The place was clean, well-kept, and comfortable for a short stay. One of the biggest advantages is its location—it’s just a short walk to Jiufen Old Street, making it very convenient to explore the area, especially in the evening. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a simple, clean stay with easy access to the main attractions.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Cham Cham Taipei a couple of times and have always had a pleasant experience. This time we stayed in a Discovery Double Room on the 19th floor. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice little bonus, and I especially loved the colourful CHAM letter cushions on the bed — they were cute, added some personality to the room, and were actually quite comfortable and convenient to use. The hotel always seems to be very popular. Each time I’ve stayed here, there have been plenty of guests around and the check-in area can get quite busy. Overall, it’s a lively, modern hotel that I’ve been happy to return to.

1. This was my third stay here. This time I was assigned an economy double room on the first floor. The bathroom had a bathtub but no shower curtain, so water would splash out when showering, making it slippery. I suggest the hotel install a shower curtain to prevent this. 2. Since my room was on the first floor next to the hallway, it was very convenient to get to the lounge in the back. However, if people were talking and laughing in the lounge at night, it would disturb those trying to sleep in nearby rooms. I suggest the hotel install a glass sliding door or an automatic door at the entrance to the lounge hallway to block out noise. 3. The lounge facilities are excellent. There's a coffee machine, ice cream, biscuit tea bags, a microwave, and an oven. In the mornings, there are also light breakfast breads, which is a great touch. 4. Nearby, there's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven, a self-service laundry, breakfast shops, and several restaurants for dining options.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining options and convenient transportation nearby. The rooms are spotless, well-lit, and airy. All the toiletries you could need are provided, and the hot water supply is stable. The staff are kind, patient, and quick to respond. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place, perfect for resting during a trip. Highly satisfied.

Absolutely a pleasureable stay. We stayed on the 17th floor, family apartment for 3. ✅Location wise it is literally opposite Sanchong Metro, Orange line. Travel time to central Taipei around 20-25mins by metro but really easy if you know how the colour travel system works. ✅Apartment has a bath so great for the end of the day walking. Shame no microwave, cutlery, plates or pans to cook or use in the apartment. Would have been great to do a family breakfast. Apartment has washer/dryer, kettle so great for a refresh of clean laundry. ✅ Would I return, Yes I would come back!

Great value for money! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The location made it easy to get around the city. Perfect choice for travelers looking for an affordable and pleasant stay.

The reception staff was very friendly. I didn't have dinner there. The equipment was a bit old. Breakfast was available the next day, but it was simple. There was nothing special to order. I had thick slices, boiled eggs, and tomatoes that day. The air was pretty good.
