Guest UserThe staff were friendly, and the room was a pleasant surprise – clean, stylish, and spacious. The bathroom and toilet were separate, with a bathtub for soaking, and there was even an outdoor balcony with some plants, which was fantastic. The soundproofing wasn't the best, as there's a night market downstairs. The freshly squeezed juice was delicious. The hotel is a bit far from the train station, about a 20-minute walk. Since I was staying for three consecutive nights, I had to become a member to avoid checking out daily, which I found a bit odd and deducted a few points for. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Taichung.

Guest UserThe front desk staff were polite but a little cold, though there were no issues with their service. The location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from Taichung Station, and there are plenty of convenient dining options nearby. The room facilities were all in working order, and while the room itself was on the smaller side, it offered great value for money. It's perfect for travelers who just need a place to rest and briefly stay.

Overall, I was quite disappointed.
Right from check-in, the staff couldn't find my reservation, and they even asked for my surname in English, and the number and gender of guests, which was a bit odd.
I noticed a lot of things because I was waiting for my luggage in the lobby for a very long time. The seating area around the art installation in the lobby was dusty, especially the back rows, and the outdoor area was full of fallen leaves.
While I was busy with my child and family arranging crafts, my luggage had already been taken to the room. When I realized I needed my carry-on bag, the staff said they would retrieve it from the room for me (we hadn't even checked into the room yet). I had a carry-on with my child's daily essentials, and my child needed to use the restroom. So, we waited in the lobby for that bag for nearly 20 minutes.
Regarding the other facilities, the welcome tea was incredibly simple. The window in our room had large water stains on the glass (I initially thought it was fog). Below our room, there was an area with weeds and what looked like abandoned moss, which felt out of place. It seemed like the most effort the hotel put in was the gardening, and I couldn't understand why this particular area existed; it was a huge contrast.
Considering all meal costs are extra, it really didn't offer good value for money at all. The food, however, was very good, and the laundry service was a plus. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming.
If the room rates were lower, I might consider revisiting. But if the prices and facilities remain as they are, I won't be returning.

SavaiiiBooked a quad room, and the size was pretty good. The beds were huge, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was just okay, not much variety. You can ask the front desk for bottled water. The location is also quite good. Overall, it's a nice place, and the facilities are well-maintained.

MalingzhuoThe location is excellent, right opposite Taichung Station. There's a supermarket, convenience store, and restaurants next door. The price is also reasonable.
What I didn't like was their very strict check-in and check-out times – check-out at 11 AM and check-in at 3 PM. They charge you for exceeding these times. However, one morning, they started cleaning the hallway at 9 AM, and the noise of the machines woke me up, even though it wasn't even housekeeping time yet. Also, on my first day, my room was already clean, but they wouldn't let me check in early. This feels like a double standard.

Tiffytif17The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for cleanliness as on first night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room.
It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside so it is convenient.
The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near to 一中街 (yizhong street) where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cutting through the open space carpark, you will be at the shopping area.
As a female solo traveller, at the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is find, just make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am - 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy.
There's a cafe next to the inn where you can have breakfast with discount by showing your room card. If you want to travel to places, there are many buses. If not, it is easy to get Uber. For first time traveller to Taichung, he/she will not be aware that toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl, so it is good to have a sign to show that.
Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it is value for money.

This hotel is conveniently located near Taichung Railway Station, with plenty of options for dining, drinking, and shopping. The room was spacious and the air conditioning was quiet, so I slept very well during my two-night stay. It's great value for money and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taichung!

享受人生的喜悦Stylish design hotel in Taichung's old town. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and amazing staff. 10-min walk from train station. Close to Miyahara and Second Market. Rooms are small and soundproofing is just okay, but great value for money. Free afternoon snacks! Perfect for solo or couple travelers or family too . ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry bathroom and a refrigerator. Each floor had its own water dispenser, and the sixth floor offered a free kids' play area, a gym, and a sparkling water machine. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel also provided a free contracted parking lot, and there's a shopping street outside the hotel for convenient resupply.

We enjoyed our stay at ICloud Luxury Resort& Hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The best part is the spa bath tub. Although the tv in the front of spa bath tub didn’t work but we can watch the TV in the bedroom.
The buffet style breakfast is included in the booking and there are so many options. They even have a juicer for making your own juice!
They have plenty of parking spaces in the basement and also two electric car charging station. As of the food options around, there’s a family mart right next to the hotel. Fengchia Night Market is 20 minutes walk away.
