"Very disappointing experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 12:45 with our family and an exhausted child and asked whether it might be possible to access our room a little earlier if it was available. We fully understand that the official check-in time is 3:00 PM. However, the hotel knew that we had been sitting in the lobby waiting for almost two hours with a very tired child, yet no effort seemed to be made to prioritise our room or find any solution for us. What made the situation particularly disappointing was the complete lack of flexibility or consideration. We were not demanding something unreasonable; we were simply asking whether, given the circumstances, the room could be made available slightly earlier. We were also going to check out very early in the morning, meaning that we would not even benefit from the official check-out time until 12:00 noon. For a hotel of this standard, I expected a much more welcoming and customer-oriented approach. Small gestures and a little flexibility can make a significant difference to a guest’s experience, particularly for a family travelling with a tired child. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left us feeling that there was very little interest in helping us or making our arrival more comfortable. On top of that the room wasn't fully clean. "The bedding was clean and the facilities were tidy. However, I wish there were more hair dryers. The soundproofing against noise from the hallway wasn't great, but I didn't notice any noise between rooms. Overall, I was very satisfied, and I especially enjoyed my trip because I met great people in the same room. The location is also very convenient, right in front of the station. If I come to Berlin again, I would definitely want to stay here!"

"pod was clean and decently comfy, yes the mattress is abit thin but it was still alright! noise level was minimum apart from the guy in the pod below snoring one night.. but if you are a light sleeper hostels arent for you anyways! toilets were amazing, i loved that there was a combined toilet+shower which felt very private 🙏🏻 mirror in the pod was really useful too. would 100% go back 👍🏻"

"The traffic is very convenient, the train station is quarantined, the waiter is good, the city is suitable for backpackers business guests. The price does not need 1,000 Hong Kong dollars, it is a good travel choice."

"Heart of Gold Hostel Berlin was extremely easy to find upon my arrival to Berlin Station. Immediately upon entering I could tell that this hostel had a certain kind of relaxed vibe to it. Not bad. If you arrive early and want to lock your bags but don't own a lock, you can rent one for a 10€ deposit. Check-in also requires a 10€ deposit. Both can be paid woth cash or card but when they return it upon departure, they will only give it back as cash. I was assigned a capsule on the first level and first thing I encountered was a guy walking in hit Itty bitty skivvies. Um, ok I guess. Again, relaxed vibe. The capsule was okay only with the door open. Close it ans it's like you're in a coffin. Hot, hot, hot, and very little air circulation. I brought that to the attention of thr front desk staff and later a guy told me that ”the motor is running” so the fan is working. I took video... the motor may be heard but it def was not working. Felt like I was sweating buckets on night 2. Glad I didn't stay an extra night. Bathroom were relatively clean, byr toilet paper was not always installed. Also, ask for a towel if needed b'c it's not automatically offered. Breakfast is 10€ and was mainly vegan. Was not worth the cost imo. Anyhow... most staff were chill. Just don't like the low effort that was put in for checking about the fan in my capsule. There is no point in booking a capsule if you need to keep the door to it open to breathe. Anyhow... of that issue was fixed, I would stay again."

"I took my dad to Berlin for a three-day, two-night trip, and the hotel was small but charming. The facilities were excellent. 1. The air conditioning offers both heating and cooling, not just a cooling function. 2. The towel rack is heated, so bath towels dry quickly. 3. The towels are of great quality; my hair dried fast after wrapping it. 4. There’s a shoehorn provided. 5. There’s an electric kettle. 6. For breakfast, you can order omelets and waffles à la carte. 7. The window view is lovely. 8. The location is convenient for transport. 9. The mattress is specially designed for people with spinal issues; even with his bad back, my dad found it very comfortable. 10. There’s a special waterproof and stain-resistant mattress protector, ensuring the mattress stays clean. 11. The elevator isn't particularly small. 12. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. 13. The toiletries are from Rituals."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mondrian Suites, the location is very close to metro stop (around 8 minutes) and also bus stop (around three minutes). It’s right next to Checkpoint Charlie memorial. For the price I think it exceeded my expectations, room was very big and had all the amenities necessary for daily life. I would def come here again. It’s half an hour walking from Berlin cathedral, very convenient. It’s also very easy to find, the reception is from the back of the hotel."

"Amenity was available and there was a kitchen, so it was very convenient. It was very nice to have a microwave. The nearest station from the hotel is about 30 seconds walk, so it is convenient to use the train! There was a crow by the window of the room where I stayed, and I told the staff because I had been there for a long time, and it was a fake bird made of plastic. I didn't ask why, but it was a little uncomfortable because the birds were made to look real."

"The place is right in the middle of Alexanderplatz, so you can’t get more central than that. The hotel itself has seen better days and the parking feels like solving a puzzle in expert mode. On the bright side, the staff are super friendly and the rooms do the job. Only downside, the bathroom air conditioning sounded like it was trying to start a rock band."

"The hotel is located in the heart of Berlin, just a few minutes' walk from the subway and tram stations. Overall, everything else was pretty good, and the room was surprisingly spacious. I'd definitely recommend it."
