I was disappointed to find out ipon checking in that the bar was not open during our visit and even more upset to discover no restaurant available. Considering these were the 2 top reasons for booking after a long drive I feel these things should not be advertised if they are not provided. I could of went elsewhere and probably cheaper had I known this sooner. The room was good and the breakfast was excellent.

The room was very clean, three single beds, although there was shower gel (no shampoo, no slippers, no hot water bottle, hair dryer), very close to the train station (Kassel Hbf), the front desk was very friendly, check in was silky, and show your passport. Apparently, rooms aren't cleaned on weekends (Friday to Saturday). You can opt out of housekeeping with a QR code, but I didn't do that.
