"We booked a room that was a medium and then were upgraded to a bigger room for six nights. The room itself was quirky with a big comfortable bed. Great location too. Staff were prompt at fixing our clogged up sink and were friendly when we requested things. Breakfast was limited but fresh and well cooked. There is very limited storage or shelving space in the room, also no fridge. The shower in the room was an absolute nightmare and very difficult to use for a week given its tiny size. It also had great fluctuations in temperature depending on who was using water in other rooms."

"The hotel is about 1.1 kilometers straight from the train station's rear exit, which is a bit of a distance. You'll eventually have to carry your luggage up stairs (or drag it up a ramp) to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the subway for one stop with your luggage and use the hotel's front entrance (though there are still stairs or a ramp to climb). Inside, the hotel is great: it has an elevator and air conditioning (not just a cooler). Check-in at the front desk was quick, and you can store your luggage after check-out (highly recommended)."

"I really enjoy my stay here, the cleanliness, the superb service and friendly staffs, the comfort bed etc. The location is good for going nearby cities for a day trip. Though the surroundings is not pleasant with many homeless, the staff take extra care and also locked the entrance with card access only during the night so I feel very safe staying here. The gym is good with enough kits to meet daily workouts."

I was exhausted and jet lag due to the trade show business plus it was my first time staying in the city centre. So rhe clean room and warm sincere treatment from the staff brightened me up. "Very warm welcome by proactive and attentive receptionist and night watchman, clean and simple hotel just what you need. Located in the Japanese district 10 min walk from the station and 10 min from the very convenient center. Possibility to store your bags and buy an unlimited ticket for 5eur for transport including even the train (zone to be checked). I would gladly return. Here, it was on the occasion of the Christmas market."

"Super clean and brand new apart hotel. Staff super attentive, kitchen appliances reassemble a full kitchen at home in a small edition with good appliances. Bathroom amenities small but if average quality and room with balcony a good solution 2 minutes walking distances from famous Kö! Would recommend for solo travels ! Best regards"

"The room was spacious and bright, and the breakfast was excellent. The room itself was new and spotless. Hygiene: Very good, clean and tidy. Environment: Close to the city center, good surroundings. Service: The front desk staff was particularly arrogant, not only impatient but also very pushy. They gave me a cheaper room than the expensive one I booked, and it only got resolved after I complained. Unfriendly, especially the chubby girl."

"After it was changed from Nikko to Clayton, this was my 2nd stay. I was received by a Japanese staff at the counter (Ms Tomiko - I hope I got her name spelt correctly - if not, my sincere apologies to her!). She was exceptionally polite and welcoming. She accommodated my request for early check in after I told her I a very tired as I just arrived in Frankfurt that very morning and drove for 3 hours to Düsseldorf. She was also kind to advise me to park at QPark in order to save the parking fee. She is really very helpful and thoughtful! And at night, when I realised that the air conditioning was not functioning as expected, I had a room changed immediately when I called up the staff, in which it was a perfect room with powerful air conditioning system! All in all, it is certainly a great experience to start my business trip!"
