"The hotel is 10 mins by taxi from the airport. There's a store and a Cafe downstairs. The pool is nice. The AC worked well but the wifi not very well."

"Everything was pretty average, and the facilities were outdated. The window wouldn't close properly, and even after telling the front desk, no one came to fix it. Good thing I was only staying one night to catch a flight the next day. The room itself was quite spacious, though."

"TPoor & Discriminatory Shuttle Service – Avoid Relying on It! Terrible experience with Meliá Madrid Barajas free shuttle on 11 Feb 2026. Driver ignored T1 stop outbound (only Spanish announcement), forced us to T4 unnecessarily. Evening return at T1: Showed room key, bus had plenty empty seats, but driver refused us & told to go T4. Airline crew boarded no problem. Stuck in pouring rain → paid outrageous €22 taxi. Complained to front desk – no response or apology after weeks. Website says shuttle stops at T1/T2/T4, but drivers decide otherwise. Felt unwelcome & discriminated against. Extremely disappointing for a 4-star airport hotel. Urge management to fix policies, train staff properly, and respond to complaints. Do NOT depend on this shuttle!"

"Overall, it's pretty good. It's very close to the airport, making travel quite convenient. There's a supermarket downstairs, which is great for grabbing essentials. Plus, the breakfast spread is quite generous."

"The hotel rooms and restaurant are both superb! The food is delicious 😋. I highly recommend the paella and fried pork chop. This place is a strong recommendation for anyone driving through Madrid who doesn't want to go into the city center. It's super convenient, right off the highway exit, so you don't have to deal with Madrid's terrible traffic. Out of 77 days driving around Europe, Madrid had the worst traffic I encountered. I actually avoided driving in Barcelona altogether because of it."

"Perfect hotel for stop over between long flights. Perfect breakfast. Clean rooms. Beside hotel central square of the town with many nice restaurants and small canteens. Surely will stay un this hotel again in case I will make stop over in Madrid."

"The main reason I chose this hotel is its proximity to the airport. I stayed here both on my first night, arriving late, and on my last day for an early morning flight. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, so I only booked it for one day. It has all the essentials. The shuttle service is very convenient, with the first one at 4:30 AM and the last one at 12:50 AM. We actually took the last shuttle on the day we arrived."

"The location is a bit out of the way with not many dining options nearby, but the shuttle bus to the airport is super convenient. There's a small supermarket across from the hotel that sells instant noodles, and the hotel service was pretty good too – they even helped me boil water, which was a lifesaver! "I booked this hotel for the free shuttle, but I had to wait half an hour at T2 at midnight and made two calls before the shuttle finally arrived. The two AXOR hotels are right next to each other, and the shuttle stop is at the entrance of the other one. The triple room was a bit cramped; there wasn't much space to open large suitcases. Breakfast started at 7 AM, and it was quite good with a decent variety. The 8 AM shuttle got us to the airport in less than 20 minutes."
