GGuest UserVery satisfied with this stay. I flew from Munich and arrived early. The front desk arranged a room when there was one available. I am very grateful. The room is very new, the supplies are relatively new, there is nothing wrong with it. The room is very quiet in a residential area, and there is a supermarket and bakery next to it, which is very convenient. The breakfast is good, with a variety of choices and good quality. For example, the dried apricots are as good as those in Turkey, big, sweet and soft. The disadvantage is not the hotel's problem. Although the road from the bus station to the hotel is flat, it is very bad (much better on the station side) and the other side is not as good as the countryside. It is very tiring to drag the luggage

TTEDDY KENNETHwe have a great 5nites stays at 2 bedroom apartment, it was a pleasant stay, the receptionist Olivier is helpful, the room is ample, all good, willing to come again if i travel to zagreb again. NNathalieCiCiThis is a design hotel with an artistic atmosphere throughout. The hotel staff were very welcoming, enthusiastically introducing the hotel and thoughtfully providing recommendations for nearby restaurants.
The hotel is very close to the city center, accessible by light rail, and a 5-minute taxi ride to the bus station. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, and a DM shop is across the street. Zagreb is a small city, making walking very convenient.
Looking forward to returning here again! 🥰

GGuest UserFantastic location. Sauna is available to book for free for private use. The best thing was the massage - it was really good. The only issue was the air condition which was changed to heating during the time we visited (summer transitioning to autumn) so it was a little warm at night. Unless you took the garden facing room, the road/ trams noises will be uncomfortable to leave the windows open through the night. Having said, the staff service were good.

GGuest UserI found this to be a relaxing hotel where you can stay comfortably. The room was very clean, so I could rest assured. It's also conveniently located close to Zagreb's main train station and the Old Town, which I think is great for exploring the city.

YyingjiemeowThe hotel is at this little quiet corner which is also good since we had to open the window at night (aircon is centralised and it’s still “winter” despite in spring). We were given level 6 which is the highest floor so it helped with the quietness. The breakfast spread was amazing, lots of cheeses and cured meat. The cooked vegetables are the best, though it can get a little oily. It’s a convenient location to walk around the city, and visit the parks and museum. There are good food options around as well. However, we were there during Easter so most of the places are close but there was a pizza place within 6 mins walk which is open during Easter. Lots of supermarkets around, so it’s easy to get snacks and fruits.

GGuest UserThe Esplanade Hotel scores big on location — it's perfectly situated and hard to beat for exploring the area on foot. The beds were genuinely comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep.
That said, the rest of the interior is showing its age. The furniture and furnishings are visibly worn and could use replacing. It doesn't ruin the stay, but it is noticeable and brings the overall experience down a notch.
Overall a solid choice if location and sleep quality are your priorities — just be aware that the room itself has seen better days.

GGuest UserLocation is great, but the gym/fitness area is very poor. Surprising that a hotel is good would have such a poor fitness gym, as so many travelers now I want to take advantage of that.

NNina ThailandThe young lady receptionist was quite rude in a way she was trying to say that the luggage room has limited space. She kept saying that repeatedly with hard tonal voice. I think she should be trained how to give a sincere service to all guests, without race discrimination. Otherwise, the rest of staff team are nice and helpful. Room is nice, clean, and modern. There’s a supermarket (Lidle) nearby.

TThanis T.The hotel is clean and basic amenities are provided. Reasonable with the price. Since I rely a lot on walking, the location is neither good nor bad. It was 2.5 km from the city center but since it is spring, the walk is really enjoyable.
