Where do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.  The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!  Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.  Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. The hotel is good, and the service was very nice. There was a wide spread of options in the buffet. The initial room we were given had a damp smell, but as soon as I reported it, the staff promptly swapped it for a better one. Overall, it was a good experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, the hotel had a fresh and pleasant fragrance that created a welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy my stay. The overall ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay.

We loved our stay here! Cleanliness to service was brilliant. Coming from Singapore, we were little worried about the hotel and cleanliness but with no doubt it was superb. Infact we don't have a complaint. We had hotel breakfast, dinner buffet, dinner ala carte at the ground level restaurant (part of the hotel) food was good, ambience is beautiful and I must say Navaneeth and ashiq were such warm and friendly boys, serving with smiles, checking on us and even other customers esp elderly folks. That is one of the best service etiquettes we have seen. Their communication skills with a little humour was a hats off! Definitely coming back and definitely recommending family and friends. My stay began on a disappointing note. I arrived at the lobby on a Sunday afternoon and waited nearly 40 minutes before anyone attended to me. Although I was clearly in line, a couple of other guests approached the desk and were assisted before me. I expected the concierge or front-desk staff to notice the situation and assist guests in the order they arrived, but unfortunately, that did not happen. Once I was finally checked in, I was assigned a room on the fourth floor. The room itself was acceptable. I generally do not have particularly high expectations regarding hotel-room ambience, as I find that it often does not vary significantly across hotels, regardless of their star rating. What I found especially unreasonable was the hotel’s pricing. Items available in the room, such as a Snickers bar priced at ₹155 and a packet of Lay’s priced at ₹55, ***** with peanuts and carbonated drinks, were listed at several times their normal retail prices. The markup was so excessive that it made me wonder whether the hotel actually wanted guests to consume these items or was simply trying to impose an unnecessary and inflated expense. The same applied to transportation. The hotel quoted ₹1,800 plus taxes for a sedan to the airport. I booked an Uber for the exact same journey for ₹699. Charging well over twice the market price—and then adding taxes on top of it—is frankly absurd. Hotel convenience may reasonably come at a premium, but this felt less like a premium service and more like an attempt to take advantage of guests. The complimentary breakfast, however, offered a wide variety of options and was probably the most redeeming part of the stay.

This hotel scores highly on airport proximity and overall value for money. While the interior and facilities are a bit dated, it's thankfully clean with no noticeable odors. Airplane noise from takeoffs and landings isn't an issue, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's a great choice for transit passengers looking for a budget-friendly option.

Location: Excellent Facilities: Good Service: Unsatisfactory 1. There was no one to greet us upon arrival 2. Our suitcases were unattended and we had to carry them to our room ourselves. 3. Mosquitoes everywhere. 4. We had to request for mosquito repellent. The hotel staff should be more attentive and ensure rooms are stocked with essentials. 5. The food we ordered for in-room dining was not even warm (forget hot food). We only ordered some fries and a sandwich - not sure if the fries were prepared and shipped from France 😂 Will never opt this place again.

good services and location. silent atmosphere good food and variety of breakfast. the only problem was that in online booking it is shown smoking is allowed where in it is a non smoking property. should change it becomes difficult for smokers

It was nice stay I. Chennai , good location , staffs are supportive and friendly , lots of shopping malls and entertainment near by , Overall very good hotel for reasonable price .

Temporary fixed old hotel, good price, good service, no need to be too detailed, basically has made the level of more than 500 hotels in China.
