"Entrance is hard to find. It’s not alongside the river. The room is very spacious, cleanliness upon checkin was great. I wished they have tissues in the room. I recommend not to eat anything in the hotel room as I noticed it easily attracts ants and you wouldn’t want to deal with it…. Breakfast was average but the pastries were delicious and also the latte art when you order coffee."

"The location is good, found easy. Universe by code, codes are sent to the mail. Central and 10min to the station. This is not a hotel as such, but a large apartment redesigned in 6 rooms. Here and your nuances. There is heating(battery) in the room, the bathroom is a separate room with a window, but without heating, there is an electric heater. It had to be turned on, otherwise the bathroom was cold. The repair was fresh in the lamp style, but the room is small. At the same time a large bed, 4 pillows and fresh lingerie, toiletries, Smart TV is, coffee maker. Of the downsides: 1. didn't work safe; 2. When you use the toilet, the shower noises the electron pump of the sewer quite loud, as a drill, at the beginning you are frightened and I think these sounds are heard and the neighboring numbers."

"I arrived at the hotel quite late on my first day, and I really appreciate the handsome gentleman at the front desk for patiently waiting for me. The hotel was very clean, and the room was cleaned every day. When I left, I accidentally left my bank card at the hotel. I’m especially grateful to the gentleman at the front desk for reminding me and for being so honest and trustworthy. I truly appreciate his help — he is a genuinely kind and honorable person. This hotel offers great value for money. There is also a sandwich shop just to the right of the hotel entrance, and the sandwiches there are absolutely delicious! Thank you for making my stay such a pleasant experience.！"

"Had an amazing 6 night stay at The Hoxton. A great location, only 10 mins walk out of the tourist area, the bed was comfy, shower was amazing and those bath towels - so warm and fluffy! Highlights included - 1. The breakfast which included a choice of eggs and sides and a buffet of continental meats, bagels, croissants, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cakes, juices and of course coffee. Although the buffet offering is not huge, I thought everything was well curated, high quality, held its place (pictured - the poached eggs with the works) and every morning seeing Francesco's friendly face was amazing. 2. Front desk/reservation service and help - every request was answered quickly and efficiently with a fast checkin/checkout. thanks for answering all my questions Virginia. The thing I didn't enjoy so much was the Trofie pesto pasta at Alassio - a bit bland and the pesto didn't quite hit the spot for me."

"I would give this hostel a perfect score if it weren't for its location. The living conditions are ideal; the beds are even more comfortable than those in a hotel. The only issue was that the air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted, making me feel a bit chilly at night. The staff were very helpful, and the lobby was clean and cozy. However, this hostel feels more like a hotel than a traditional hostel because there's no communal kitchen. You can use a card to operate the washing machine and dryer, though. There's a study area, and it seems you can even book yoga classes and other activities. If, like me, you prefer to stay closer to the city center, this might not be the perfect choice, as the nearby bus route 17 is often delayed or unreliable. But if you prioritize a comfortable living experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"Looking at the evaluation is very low, I found it OK after I checked in. Better than expected. Breakfast is a bit simple, 455 yuan a night with breakfast, very ok. The location is also good."

"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel La Fortezza and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10–15 minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) train station. If you prefer public transportation, there is a bus stop just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to reach all the major attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially appreciated having a room with a window, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. One of the first things we noticed was the hotel’s pleasant signature fragrance, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, but we would especially like to thank Mr. Buli, who was working the night shift. We returned to the hotel late one evening after all the nearby restaurants had closed. When he learned that my son was hungry, he kindly prepared fresh sandwiches and yogurt for us from the hotel kitchen. His kindness and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations and made us feel truly cared for. Another thoughtful service was that the hotel offers complimentary travel adapters for guests, which was very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would happily stay at Hotel La Fortezza again on our next visit to Florence. "Loved our stay at IQ Hotel Florence! The location couldn’t have been better, and the hydro plunge pool was such a treat after wandering around the city all day. Big plus for the free goodies in the minibar 🙌 and the room was super clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again!"
