Hotels near Uffizi in Florence

Very helpful staff and the hotel is clean. The downside was that it was so much noise in the corridor and I was woken up every time by these noises.  The walls are far from sound proof. There was also no place to hang the towels (even small ones) in the bathroom. The Smart TV did not work for IOS, no matter how hard we tried with the receptionist. Price value ration is okay.

I traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here. On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available.The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights. After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully. On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this. Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean. Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk. Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€. Payment: They are strictly card-only. Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station. If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)

The location is excellent. The room was not very big but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and they serve it on the terrace on the 6th floor where you can enjoy nice views of the city. It doesn't have parking but people in the reception will help you book a spot in a garage 100m away from the hotel. I would definitely book again in this hotel.

This hotel is okay if you get a good deal, but it's not worth paying extra for a special experience. The location is fantastic, literally 10 meters from the Duomo! It feels safe, though you'll be woken up by the church bells every morning. Service was a mixed bag, very hit or miss, which I guess is typical for Italy. Some staff were warm and helpful, others were quite cold. We had a family room, which wasn't the exact room type pictured and was a bit smaller than expected. However, you can tell it has very high ceilings, suggesting it might have once been owned by a wealthy family or banker. The overall design and structural style haven't changed much. Cleanliness was a concern. There were pillows on the bed that couldn't be removed, and it seems in Italy, duvets are often just a sheet with a reusable blanket on top, which I personally found a bit unhygienic (but I respect cultural differences). There weren't many charging outlets, and the design isn't standardized across rooms (e.g., outlet placement, a chair specifically for towels in the bathroom, etc.). Ultimately, don't pay a premium to stay here. If the price is right, then it's an option.

Despite being a 3-star hotel, it's one of the rare hotels where you can receive 5-star service, breakfast, and attention. We extend our sincere thanks to the young lady at the reception desk who addressed and resolved our issues from the moment we arrived; to Antonio and Maddelena, who worked tirelessly in the dining room, keeping the breakfast variety fresh and vibrant, turning it into a feast that satisfied our eyes, hearts, and stomachs; and to the cleaning staff who meticulously took care of our room and addressed any deficiencies. They made us feel more like we were at home than in a hotel. The hotel's proximity to the city center and tram station also makes accessing everything very easy. You can reach the hotel from the train station by tram in 5 stops, and you can also walk to the nice restaurants and sights in the city center. We definitely recommend it to families and groups of friends visiting Florence.

The decor is like a guesthouse from the 1990s, but the price is like a five-star hotel. The location is excellent, behind the Bargello Museum, and within a 10-minute walk of any attraction. However, it's very old and shabby, and the shampoo and conditioner are terrible.

Hotel Spagna! What a location and such friendly staff. So close to SMN station and to all the closest attractions. The staff are very friendly and check in was so easy. They also are very well informed and helped with recommendations for food/shops. The only ”issue” I faced was that the wifi wasn't working for 2 of the 3 nights that I was there. Highly recommend.

Very good B&B. The room is big and clean. The bathroom is shared and well cleaned. It is comfortable to use. It feels like living in an ancient castle. Free coffee and tea are served in the living room. It is a great experience. Mr. Vincenzo is often online and answers all questions. He introduced the tourist attractions in Florence in great detail and recommended a delicious ice cream shop. The free wifi is smooth. There are many attractions nearby. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the David of the Accademia Gallery, the Uffizi Gallery, the Piazza della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio and other attractions. If you are a backpacker who is careful about budget, it is highly recommended to stay here. The disadvantage is that there is no elevator. You have to carry your luggage up 3 floors by yourself. It is also a little far from Florence Santa Maria Train Station. There are only two public bathrooms. It is quite far to go to the bathroom outside the room at night. Even so, I still recommend staying here. Remember to download what's app to contact because first-time travelers may not be able to find the place. Ask Mr. Vincenzo to open the door on the first floor.

The basic room type socket of the reservation did not work and contacted the front desk. Because other rooms are still being cleaned up, the front desk patiently found several alternatives, and finally upgraded to a suite on the first floor for free. Hotel facilities are some years old, but still very textured. The courtyard on the first floor is very quiet, the bed is very comfortable, the kind that the whole person is trapped in. Overall very good

Really a very good value for money hotel, very good location, very close to the Uffizi Gallery and the church, very convenient, there is a Chinese food nearby! We are greeted by the boss, the boss is very intimate to help us with luggage, help us set the car to the airport, and the hotel contains breakfast, coffee is very good. The main price is not expensive!
