Although the room isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate for two people and has all the necessary amenities. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station and is surrounded by several convenience stores. It's also very close to the famous Dacommeca bakery. The front desk is on the second floor, while the first floor houses a public bathhouse that's open to the public for a fee. Hotel guests can enter for free with their room key. One downside is that there are only two elevators, so you often have to wait a long time.

I recently stayed at Tokyu Stay Hakata during my trip to Fukuoka and had a really pleasant experience. The location is very convenient — it’s only about a 5–8 minute walk from Hakata Station, which made getting around extremely easy. From there, you can easily access the subway to Fukuoka Airport or take the Shinkansen to other cities in Japan. Another thing I liked was the surrounding area. There are several convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and being close to Hakata Station means you are also within walking distance to shopping malls and many local food spots. Overall, Tokyu Stay Hakata is a very practical and comfortable hotel choice in Fukuoka. With its convenient location and useful in-room amenities, it’s especially great for travelers staying a few days who want easy access to transportation and the city.

Service: Warm and attentive. Toiletries can be picked up at the front desk, and they even provide POLA brand amenities, which offers great value for money.

The room was very spacious, and we were extremely happy with it. It came equipped with a washing machine and a microwave, and the fridge was also a good size. The sofa was very comfortable, making it perfect for two people. My only minor suggestion would be for a slightly larger bed.

Honestly, based on reviews, I was expecting the bare minimum from this hotel, but everything actually turned out great. There's a wide variety of dining options nearby, with everything you could want to eat and drink, making it super easy for everyday meals or finding a bite while shopping. The location is truly superior. Service was attentive and thoughtful, and overall, it offered great value for money. It's incredibly convenient for travel, shopping, and dining, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The living experience was excellent, making this one of the most satisfying hotels of my trip. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The location was absolutely fantastic! However, the room was a bit small, and I had some trouble getting the heater to work initially. It was also a bit frustrating when I needed assistance but couldn't find anyone at the front desk in the lobby. Also, while they do offer luggage storage, the key system is one of those string-attached types, which means you can only store items that can be locked with that specific key, like suitcases, not open bags. Despite a few minor issues, considering the great location and price, I still think it was a good value. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

I had a wonderful stay at this capsule hotel. The capsules were spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke enough English to make check-in easy. Shared facilities (showers, lockers, lounge) were clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient for trains, restaurants, and shops. Great value and a fun, uniquely Japanese experience .

This hotel is decent. You need to take a bus from right outside the hotel to get to Canal City, Tenjin, and Hakata Station. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options. I stayed a few days in Tenjin and decided to try this hotel for one night.

This is a great hotel! It's about a 700-meter walk from Hakata Station, or just one subway stop to Gion. The room was quite spacious, and they provided two bottles of water and a wide variety of self-service tea bags. The soundproofing was excellent, so it was very quiet. The service was fantastic – polite and friendly. I was pretty tired from traveling from another city that day, and to my surprise, they let me check in a little early. This was probably the only time I was able to check in early at any of the hotels I stayed at in Japan. Many thanks! The hotel breakfast offered five different set menus, and the food was delicious.
