"The room was tiny; we could only unpack our luggage in the hallway right by the door. The breakfast selection was extremely poor, so I wouldn't recommend booking it separately. They don't provide any toiletries. On the bright side, there's complimentary coffee and hot water available all day on the first floor, and they offer decent ice cream at 8 PM. At nearly 1000 a night, it's definitely not good value for money."

"The hotel is tucked away in an alley, about a 5-6 minute walk from Kobe Sannomiya Station. It's easy to find with navigation. The interior has a distinct North American style. According to the staff, the hotel used to host weddings before 2019, and you can still see copper plaques with couples' names engraved on the walls. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a Japanese style – compact but cozy and comfortable. The hotel also features a large public bath and a self-service laundry room. Breakfast is more Japanese-focused, with options to customize your own Ochazuke, norimaki (sushi rolls), udon noodles, and more. Stepping out the front door, you're immediately on a bustling shopping street lined with various restaurants where you can try local delicacies like Kobe beef. The Ikuta Shrine is just about 20 meters from the back exit, and both Kitano Ijinkan-gai (foreign residences) and Nankinmachi (Chinatown) are within walking distance."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful design of the bedside lamp controls. The size of the room was also quite generous. The bathroom was relatively new and spacious, and the soundproofing was good too. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Kobe."

"The hotel's location is great, nestled between Sannomiya and Motomachi stations, making it super convenient for getting around. It's also on a very bustling street, so you just step out and there are plenty of dining options. Despite that, the room was very quiet and spacious – we even had room to open our luggage without a problem. Plus, they offer complimentary snacks in the afternoon! I'd definitely stay at The b again next time I visit; it's a solid recommendation."

"The hotel has a unique design and is located in Meriken Park, Kobe Port. Standing on the balcony and gazing out at the sea, it feels as if you're on a real ship's deck. During check-in, the hotel thoughtfully provides drinks, coffee, and snacks. I initially thought it was very far from the JR station, but after getting familiar with the area, I realized the location is quite good. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Daimaru and Motomachi. It's worth noting that the hotel shuttle bus times provided by Trip.com are incorrect; the shuttle actually runs quite frequently, not just once an hour. I even took photos for other travelers' reference."

"The front desk staff are very helpful and nice. I had booked my stay on 16-18 Sept 1 room for 2 nights and a separate booking on 18-19 Sept 1 room for 1 night, so I had ask the front desk to change for me, they are so delighted and helpful to change for me to  18-19 Sept 1 room to 3 night so I don’t have to check-out on 18 Sept at 11am and check-in again ito get other room for the last night. Thanks again for the front desk staff."

"I really like this hotel and usually book two 20 sq.m. rooms when traveling with my family, which I did this time too. We arrived around 10 AM, dropped off our luggage, and headed out, returning for check-in after 9 PM. A male staff member mistakenly thought we'd booked one room, but after clarifying, we were given two. Upon entering, we noticed the room type differed from what we'd reserved; we received the 16.5 sq.m. layout. The difference was in room size and amenities; the 20 sq.m. rooms have a desk, a small dining table, and two chairs. I immediately contacted the front desk, but to no avail. Then I spoke with Trip.com, who said there were no other rooms available for an exchange. While getting ready, I found hair on the bathroom wall, a strange noise when turning on the hot water tap, and a missing button on the bathrobe. I contacted Trip.com again, and they offered a points compensation. I hope Trip.com's display pages accurately reflect reality and that the hotel assigns rooms according to reservations."

"Amazing hotel with professional staff. The hotel room is very modern design which fits 2 adults, so clean and quite well organised. The hotel has a functional space in 3rd floor with free flow of water, drinks, desserts and coffee 24 hours offering. All are exceptional yummy. Has 3 sets of washing and dryer machines on 9th floor. The front office staff is so helpful recommend us to try Kobe beef with nicely presented a name card so the Kobe beef restaurant take good care of us with discount too. Will definitely stay again in this hotel. Food, transportation, 24 hours convenience store, Kobe Tower is just around our walking distance. Actual place is the same as the photos show. The shower tap add credit with small bubbles good for face washing and hot water comes immediately. Everything is fine, no complaint."

"This is my second time staying here. It's really convenient, quite close to both JR Sannomiya and Hankyu Sannomiya stations. Right next to the hotel there's a really well-stocked Hankyu OASIS supermarket, which is super handy for groceries. The hotel rooms are clean, and they offer complimentary tea and drinks from afternoon till evening, plus there's a happy hour."

"You could choose from a selection of amenities, and there was a welcome drink and snacks. Breakfast was also included, which consisted of a set of five small, toasted bread rolls and a beverage, allowing us to enjoy a warm breakfast. Being on the first floor, the noise from footsteps upstairs, outside, and in the hallway was quite bothersome. The bed seemed to be broken; one side was severely sunken, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on, which was disappointing. My husband's side was fine, however. We stayed here for a business trip as a couple. Aside from the noise issue, it was cheaper than a business hotel, and the bathroom and room were more spacious. So, I think it might be more comfortable to choose a non-business hotel when traveling as a couple. The staff were also very attentive."
