"First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. In the end, I had a cup of instant noodles and a glass of grape juice."

"The self-service water dispenser and microwave right next to the elevator are a huge plus. Downstairs is Ikseon-dong, and it's also a walkable distance to Insadong for browsing little shops. The location and transportation are absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for better. However, the room itself is really tiny; there's nowhere to even put used bath towels. The clothes hanger is fixed and can't be moved, and it's right next to the kettle, which is a really annoying design. They provided drip coffee, which was quite good. Body lotion was also provided, which was another nice touch."

"The hostel staff changes daily, but they're all very friendly and provide a bottle of water every day. It would be even better if they could offer a late-night bus booking service to Seoul airport in the future!"

"The location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Jongno 3-ga Station to the hotel. However, the alley leading to it is a bit quiet. There's a CU convenience store nearby. There's also a back exit that leads out to another alley, with hotels and izakayas on both sides, making it a bit dark."

"Before choosing a hotel, I always read reviews. Many mentioned the neighborhood was noisy, and that's definitely true, but it's not a fault of the hotel itself. It's just part of the area. However, if you're a first-timer in Seoul and want to hit as many sights as possible in minimal time, this is one of the best neighborhoods. Gyeongbokgung Palace is a 40-minute walk away, and the Han River is just around the corner. The subway station, two minutes away, can take you anywhere. The room is clean and simple. It's thoroughly cleaned before check-in, but there's no cleaning service during your stay. For me, that's a plus rather than a minus; I don't like people entering my room when I'm not there. The room has a TV, a fridge, and a separate shower. But if you're traveling with a friend you don't know very well yet, be prepared to step out of the room when someone is showering. Or you'll become best friends! :) Regarding amenities for daily comfort: 1. There's a communal kitchen with a coffee machine, hot and cold water dispenser, stove, and microwave. 2. There's a washing machine with a drying function: two hours, and no need to find a place to hang wet clothes. 3. There's a garment steamer – instantly boosts comfort by +10,000 points. Reviews also complained about noisy neighbors. I didn't encounter any during my stay: just students, couples with kids, and lovely ahjummas. If someone does seem noisy, earplugs are readily available. At one point, the water was supposed to be shut off for repairs, and the hostel staff brought two bottles of water directly to my room. The hostel owner checks in to see how things are going and engages in small talk with repeat guests. If you're a solo traveler, I definitely recommend it. Yes, it's a 'walking' neighborhood, but throughout my entire stay, I never once felt unsafe. Special thanks for the umbrella sharing! 🤍"

"The location was excellent, close to the station and within walking distance of a convenience store! Even though it was a self check-in, the entrance used a PIN code and the rooms had card keys, which made me feel very secure. Both the common areas and my room were very clean and comfortable. This time, I was a little surprised to find a rather large bug, but I think that can happen at any hotel. Given how thorough the cleaning was, it didn't bother me too much personally. Despite being an unmanned hotel, when I inquired via LINE or KakaoTalk, they responded immediately, even late at night, which was very reassuring. Their customer service was excellent and polite. Plus, the all-you-can-eat selection of three types of ramen was a nice bonus! The amenities like the microwave, washing machine (with detergent), iron, and coffee maker were also great, making my stay very convenient. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the chance!"

"Super modern and stunning hotel, chic decor and vibey atmosphere. Great location too, very short walk from public transport stations and a 7-eleven next door. Staff are kind, room key was a passcode and QR code for the lift. Rooms are clean and stunning, very modern, huge smart TV with youtube etc, and THE comfiest bed ever!! Bathroom was quite small but had everything I needed - floors get quite wet due to shower positioning but lovely shower and products. Only downside was I had no safe and the lounge on 18th floor was under construction however the 19th floor rooftop was open to use, but slightly disappointed there wasnt anything up there other than seating areas - although these were nice and had stunning views! Could also leave luggage there before check in and after check out which was great."

"The lady at the reception was really kind and helpful. Rooms are clean. A lot of food shops on every corner.A walking distance to most tourist attractions places. If you are not lazy like me, you can walk to Myeodong Street, Food Street, the river, and many more surrounding areas or take a taxi. Overall I had a great experience, would definitely book again"

"I stayed at 3 different hotels during my 10-day trip to Korea, and this one absolutely deserves a great review. **Environment**: Quiet and safe. Compared to similarly priced hotels, the room here is genuinely much bigger. **Facilities**: Comprehensive. The washing machine was very convenient, and it even came with detergent. There's also a separate communal dining area. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, tidy, and no strange odors, nor any lingering renovation smell. **Service**: Exceptional. Calls are always answered, and if you don't know how to use something, someone will teach you. Everyone always has a smile on their face. For the same price point, or even a slightly higher one, I highly recommend choosing this hotel."
