The staff were very accomodating. They upgraded our room and we are thankful for that. Breakfast buffet was good we enjoyed it. Theres also a welcome coffee voucher but I wish the staff should have nform us that theres a last call for the free coffee, we went at the cafe around 6:32PM and the staff told us that she cant accomodate us since the last call was 6:30PM too bad we did not claim the coffee since that was our last day in korea, they should have told us that., and one one thing I hate about our stay is that we can only leave our luggages until 6:00PM, and our airport transfer service is 8:30PM. We don't have any place to go since we have big luggages and theres no cafe or any store that we can go with so many luggages.

This hotel is really close to Jongno 3-ga Station, making it super convenient for getting to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeongdong. The room was a bit small, but very clean. You can store your luggage before check-in, and the self-check-in process was a breeze. For a Seoul city center hotel, it offers excellent value for money.

The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for the subway and airport bus, both just a 3-minute walk away. It's also really close to Myeongdong, about a 10-minute walk. Downstairs, there are plenty of places to eat, and the area gets livelier as the night goes on. There are also three convenience stores right downstairs. The staff were very friendly, and being able to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out was incredibly helpful. I would definitely want to stay here again! 👍

Fantastic location, I can walk to a lot of places around. Many food choices, cafes and convience shops within walking distance. Guesthouse is a bit old, but it's clean. The staff are helpful and friendly too. If you are sensitive to nosie, this will not be for you, you can hear the streets and people moving outside the room.

Excellent stay at New Seoul Hotel Myeongdong! The hotel location was perfect very convenient and close to Myeongdong shopping street, restaurants, convenience stores, and subway/train stations, making it easy to travel around Seoul. Airport bus access was also very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always welcoming during our stay.

The Koreana Hotel truly stands as a representative hotel in Korea, embodying understated luxury and elegance. It's nestled in the heart of Seoul, right next to Gwanghwamun Square and Cheonggyecheon Stream, offering stunning distant views of Namsan Mountain, especially beautiful at night. Opened in 1972, the Koreana Hotel played a significant role in international events, operating the main press center restaurant during the 1988 Seoul Olympics and later the Paralympics Athletes' Village restaurant. It has consistently served as an important hub for hosting international guests! We booked the Koreana Hotel this time because we had tickets for the Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Concert at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on Friday evening from 7-9 PM. ^u^ For check-in, you need to prepare your ID card or passport. We were given a fantastic room on the 15th floor with an unparalleled night view. We are truly grateful for the hotel's excellent care! Although the room is around 30 square meters, it actually felt like 50 square meters. The decor is luxurious French style, comfortable yet elegant, and perfectly quiet. I had expected it to be somewhat old, but it's incredibly well-maintained and renovated, and the TV even connects directly to YouTube – a clear sign of how the world is changing and hotels are continuously improving! The bedding was also excellent with a very comfortable mattress. For travelers, getting a good night's rest, relaxing completely, and waking up refreshed and energized for the next day is crucial, and we both slept wonderfully! The room came with an iPad for ordering room service and hotel amenities, allowing many tasks to be completed quietly, which I absolutely loved. The hotel's response was incredibly fast; service requests were delivered within 5-10 minutes! We ordered abalone porridge for breakfast, and it was delivered promptly 20 minutes after we scheduled the preparation time. One portion was more than enough for both an adult and a child, and we enjoyed it very much! Do note that the hotel does not provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, facial cleanser, or combs – only soap! Other items are available in a paid amenity kit, so be aware when checking in. There are two bottles of complimentary water; it's more economical to purchase additional water at a convenience store.

This is my third time staying here! The hotel is really easy to find – just a short walk from where the airport bus drops you off, and the subway station is super close too. There are tons of food options nearby, and after a quick walk through the underpass, you're right in Myeongdong and at Lotte Duty Free. I was here for a concert, and the transport links were incredibly convenient! The owner at the front desk was super nice and waited for us for a long time; communication was a breeze. The room was very clean. I've stayed in different room types all three times, and this time I chose a single room which was pretty good. The previous double rooms were excellent too. Compared to other places I've stayed, it offers great value for money. They provide disposable toothbrushes, a hairdryer, and even a universal adapter, which is a big plus. Highly recommend checking in!

Here's a breakdown of my stay, highlighting the pros and cons: **The Good:** * There's a lounge on each floor (or so it seemed) offering complimentary coffee and instant ramen. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine, detergent, and fabric softener, are also available for free use. I didn't personally use them, nor did I see anyone else using them. * The place was incredibly clean. Oddly enough, there were chairs in the hallway. * The location is fantastic! There are tons of restaurants nearby, so you'll never be short of dining options. It's also very close to the train station. * I had a late check-in planned, but the staff communicated with me beforehand via message, which put my mind at ease. After 9 PM, check-in is done via a kiosk. * I was able to request an extra room key. * The refrigerator is a good, family-sized one, and the freezer has plenty of space. * They even provide toothbrushes, which is a rare find these days! Bath towels are also included. You can freely replenish toilet paper and hand towels, and fresh bath towels can be obtained from the front desk. **The Not-So-Good:** * I could faintly hear karaoke sounds seeping through the walls, but it didn't bother me personally. * Because there's a PC center (or similar) and a karaoke establishment in the building, I sometimes had to wait for an elevator, as they were often full. * The shower drain had a slight odor. * While the shower and toilet are somewhat separated, they're very close together and the space is extremely cramped. Toilet paper, shampoo, and other items are placed directly above the toilet, so you have to be careful when showering to avoid soaking the toilet paper. There seem to be frequent complaints about the karaoke noise, and they appear to be taking measures to address it (I've included a photo at the end). Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again if the opportunity arises.

The location is great, just a 7-8 minute walk to Lotte Duty Free. It's also very close to the subway station and airport bus stops, making travel super convenient. Even though it's lively downstairs, the room was quiet, probably because it's on a higher floor. The room itself was new and very clean, and it had amenities like a water dispenser, kettle, and microwave. The only downside is that the room is a bit small; once you open your suitcase, there isn't much space left.

First off, the location of the Ibis Ambassador Myeongdong hotel🏨 is absolutely fantastic. It's right opposite Lotte Duty Free, and getting there from Incheon Airport is super convenient – just take the 6015 bus directly to the hotel. If you're heading to Gyeongbokgung Palace, you can take bus 406 to Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, and the palace is just a short walk from there. The subway station right outside the hotel (Euljiro 1-ga) makes it easy to get to Dongdaemun; you can recharge your transit card at the machines inside the station (they're easy to use and have a Chinese language option). From Euljiro 1-ga to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park, you'll see APM as soon as you exit... and Myeongdong shopping street is right next door, which is amazing for shopping. The only downside is that the price can be a bit steep during peak season, but the location definitely makes it worth it!
