Hotels near M PLAZA in Seoul

Great location for exploring Seoul. Major universities, cultural attractions, shopping, and restaurants are all nearby. Public transportation is convenient, the hostel facilities are excellent, and there are plenty of local events to enjoy. Highly recommended for international travelers.

The hotel's location is excellent, about a 6-minute walk from Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga subway station. It's only one subway stop away from Myeongdong, Gwanghwamun, and Gyeongbokgung in the old city. The entire check-in and check-out process is self-service and quite straightforward. The room was clean and tidy, though the soundproofing was a bit poor, as I could hear luggage carts in the hallway. The room was small, but acceptable for the price point. There are two convenience stores nearby, a GS25 and a 7-Eleven, making it easy to pick up supplies.

The hotel boasts convenient transportation. You can take the airport bus to and from the airport, and the drop-off point is also where you catch the return bus, which is super handy. I took bus 6015 and got off at Myeongdong Station. After getting off, you'll see Subway Exit 8. Head towards Exit 8, and at the first intersection, turn right and walk straight. (Make sure you don't go past the CU convenience store; it's actually right opposite Exit 8.) It's quite close, just a few hundred meters walk. The hotel is also very close to our embassy, which gave me extra peace of mind. Every morning, I could see the embassy from my window seat. The room was a bit small; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it feel a bit cramped, but the hotel's cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it's in lively Myeongdong, it was very quiet at night, which was fantastic.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the Line 2 subway exit. It's super convenient for shopping and exploring Myeongdong's main street, and Olive Young is also nearby. There's a 7-Eleven right outside, and plenty of restaurants, making it really convenient.

Stay at SL Myeongdong for 3 nights. Location is quite good, in between Myeongdong and ChungMuro station (~6 mins walk). Airport bus stops for 6001 and 6015 located near the two stations. Frontdesk is efficient and friendly. Room is bright, relatively small but equipped with washing machine, dryer and a full-size fridge. Bed was comfy, but pillows were too soft. Hotel is new but the cleaning/maintenance can be better, cos some marks can be seen on the tiles. On the first night, we noticed a bit of blood stain on the side of the bedsheet, which they promptly changed after feedback. Overall a good place to stay in Seoul near Myeongdong.

This was my daughter's first trip to Korea, right after she graduated from high school. The hotel was quick and polite in responding to my email inquiries. We were able to leave our luggage secured in the stairwell (though I was a bit worried leaving it unattended for a while) and head out for sightseeing. The location was super convenient, on the 3rd or 4th floor, roughly across from the Starbucks at the post office. There was a new building under construction right in front of us. When we checked in, a staff member was there to help us with our luggage. On the way out, I had a lot of bags and had to make two trips, which was tough, but it's great that there's a 7-Eleven a few doors down and plenty of other convenience stores, plus it's right off the main street, so no complaints there. I felt safe even coming back late at night. The double-glazed windows kept the outside noise out, but since our room was near the stairwell entrance on the 3rd floor, we could hear other guests locking and unlocking their doors in the hallway, which was a bit bothersome. The shower worked fine without any issues, though the water tended to pool a bit at our feet. It was nice to have shared towels and water available, and the amenities were well-stocked, the hairdryer had good power, and the tea and kettle were appreciated. The refrigerator, however, didn't work; it wouldn't cool anything. I managed by putting ice from 7-Eleven in a cooler bag for yogurt and drinks. We pushed the twin beds together and had a comfortable 'girls' night,' feeling right at home. The price was reasonable, the location was convenient, and there wasn't a large lobby like in bigger hotels, so we could get to our room quickly. The compact layout, with the restroom right nearby, was actually a relief for our tired feet after a lot of walking. There was no room cleaning service. We learned to hang towels in the bathroom to keep the floor from getting wet and uncomfortable. It's also a good idea to put trash bins and slippers outside the room. The self-service check-in/check-out machine was great, allowing us to do it at our own pace. I'd definitely want to stay here again.

The hotel was located in the middle of Myeongdong just a few minutes from the main shopping street, with a bus and metro station only a 2 minute walk away. It’s also one of the more affordable options, making it both convenient & budget-friendly. It was the perfect base for exploring Seoul with ease. The rooms were clean & had all the necessary amenities. The receptionist was incredibly kind, very welcoming & helpful. He even made personalized stamps with our names for us to use during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stay 6 nights at here with a 5yo boy. Overall is ok except there were a few days the cleaner dint clean well n replace cotton buds, paper cup(yes, they only provide paper cup for coffee/tea. Tissue paper finished use also they dint replace but when u call them to send they will immediately attened to. Some Front desk peoples was helpful but a few was not when you ask them certain thing they will just say dunno or cannot instead of giving you alternative solutions. Location wise is abt 5-10 mins walking to myeongdong shopping street, and nearest subway took about 5-7mins walking.

The room was clean and hygienic. The bathroom wasn't very soundproof, which could be improved, as I could hear water being used in other rooms. It's close to the subway, making it very convenient to get to the airport. Insadong is right downstairs, and at night, there are many food stalls, creating a lively atmosphere perfect for groups to eat and drink. There's also a good cultural vibe with many handicraft stalls, making it worth exploring.

Best location! Clean rooms. A bit tiny but it works! Love their bidet- best part about the room haha. Good shower - water does splash as there’s no divider but there’s plenty of towels you can get in self serve area. Self check-in and all. Easy. Elevators are good. It’s in an alley way which is basically this whole area but it’s all very safe and clean. This whole area is all shopping and food. Hello Kitty Cafe is 2 doors down!!! And IYKYK there’s a beautiful Skin 1004 boutique store also two doors away!!! I mean WOW. Airport buses and subways are all close by. Can’t recommend this place enough for our first stay in Seoul. Oh and there’s tons of street food vendors and Olive Young in every corner. This place is popping in the evening. Tons of people, shops and food. It lights up. Mini Times Square. Reminds me of Shinjuku and Shibuya areas in Japan basically. Maybe not as crowded. Maybe.
