"I was completely satisfied with the hotel. While it's a bit outside the main tourist areas, the nearest metro station is less than a five-minute walk away. A large shopping center is also nearby. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. Although I might find it a tad too small for two people, it was a good size for me as a solo traveler."
"Two days of stay is complete. It's my first use. I decided suddenly. As a result, I'm very satisfied. I'm willing to visit again.
1. Facilities are good.
Very good to be separated from the bathroom and toilet.
There's an extra shower in the bathroom and a bathtub.
The washbasin is outside so it's good to wash it quickly in the morning.
There's a microwave, paper cup, chopsticks, coffee mixes, little paper spoons in the hallway.
There's an extra coffee machine on the first floor.
2.방음
Sound insulation is not very good.
But it's okay if you're not sensitive to noise.
3. Cleanliness
Cleanliness was fine for me, which was meticulous. It was clean.
4. Friendly
Middle-aged women are friendly and nice.
However, the staff who are estimated to be men in their 30s and 40s are friendly and quick to work, but I felt unpleasant in their tone and attitude. When the words got a little longer, I felt too annoying and wanted to cut them off quickly. It would be nice to explain the hotel rules more kindly to leave the key when you go out. Although it's very kind, it's very inconvenient because the guests should notice it and feel aggressive."
"Come to see the concert, the facilities are also good, the house is very complete, even the curling bar is also very comfortable, the massage chair is very comfortable, the location is very close to the subway station, the transportation is convenient, there are many restaurants around, very convenient."
"This was a hotel that a Spaniard visiting Korea chose after much deliberation.
Although there were many budget-friendly motels nearby, I selected the hotel-class Royal Suite, hoping for a more comfortable and cozy stay. It is true that my expectations were high, as the price of around 170,000 won was not insignificant.
However, after actually staying there, I was generally quite disappointed. The first thing that stood out was the cleanliness. There was hair left in the bathtub, and the bed sheets had red stains that appeared to have not been properly washed, which was very unpleasant.
Additionally, the smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the room, making it difficult to consider it a pleasant environment. This was particularly bothersome for a non-smoker. In terms of facilities, the toilet's water pressure was weak, so it was inconvenient to have to flush multiple times because it did not clean properly in one go.
With the wide variety of accommodations available these days, one could have stayed comfortably for under 100,000 won; paying 170,000 won only resulted in a somewhat disappointing experience as my satisfaction fell short of my expectations."
"I recently stayed at IF Hotel Seoul Nowon over the weekend, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations for the price.
The location is a big win. Nowon is a lively area, but what I really like is that it’s not overly crowded or packed with tourists. It feels more local, more chill, and less chaotic compared to the usual hotspots like Myeongdong or Hongdae. You still get that “happening” vibe, just without the stress.
Getting around is easy too. The hotel is close to public transport, and you’ve got CU and GS25 literally right next door. Super convenient, especially for late-night snacks or quick essentials.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Basic amenities like TV and a fridge are provided, but the standout feature for me was the LG Styler TROMM Styler inside the room.
This isn’t your typical laundry setup. It’s a proper clothing care system. You can refresh your clothes, remove odors, reduce wrinkles, and basically “steam-clean” your outfits without needing to do a full wash. For travelers, especially if you’re moving around a lot or packing light, this is honestly a game changer. It’s one of those small luxuries you don’t expect at this price point.
One thing to note: the hotel seems to cater more towards younger guests, and the check-in timing is a bit unconventional; typically after 10 PM. I didn’t realize this and showed up at 11 AM thinking it was a typo. But to be fair, the staff handled it well. I paid an additional 50,000 KRW for early check-in, and the process was quick and hassle-free.
Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable stay in Seoul that’s in a local, less touristy area, with a surprisingly premium touch like the LG Styler, this place is definitely worth considering. Just make sure you’re aware of the check-in timing so you can plan properly."
"The neatness of the new building and the kindness of the staff of the express hotel class meet, and I would like to be the first place among the accommodations I visited this year ❤️"
"Not far from the station and the staff are very friendly. The room is spacious, and I liked having a bathtub and a PC. However, the body wash wasn't refilled when I checked in, and the toilet was clogged, so I had to call the front desk multiple times. Also, cleaning supplies were left in the hallway until the evening, making it a bit narrow."
"Had a fantastic exotic experience here! The owner was really great, offering free drinks and water. The mattress was super comfortable, and the hotel is very close to the subway station, which made getting around a breeze. Plus, there are tons of affordable local eateries nearby. When we checked out, the owner even walked us to the bus stop. Overall, a very pleasant stay!"
"Exit 8 was the closest. I came out of Exit 1 for nothing and walked a little more. The photo and the hostel photo were the same and the bathroom was spacious. There were many restaurants behind the hostel and it was nice. Cleanliness was especially good."

Great
AAichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!
GGuest UserThe room was a bit small and the price was a bit high. Service was okay. The hotel has Wi-Fi. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. The hotel isn't old and there weren't any strange smells. It's still a decent place to stay. The location is very convenient, right in the heart of Hongdae, with plenty of great places to shop and eat nearby.
GGuest UserPleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers).
BBasGTiny little hotel room but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel pyjamas were an unexpected amenity and cute. Breakfast at the rooftop bar was especially tasty, with a supply of blankets, and beautiful views that made it one of our highlights. The lobby scales to weigh our luggage also helped alot with packing for our flights. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and looked after our bags while we explored after checkout.
MMonkumaIt was very nice hotel. Room was big enough for 4 people and 2 beds were also
big enough to sleep. ( 2 queen )There were big fridge, freezer, washing machines and dryer. ( no soap)
Amenities were only shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
The hotel is located between Myeongdong exit 10 and Chungmuro.
The hotel has wow pass machine and convenience store.
Staffs were nice and room was clean. ( I just see some dust left on the corner of room but it is not big issue )
Over all we loved to stay here and if we have chance, we would like to stay again.
EEddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.
AANNASHEThis hotel is located above the OLIVION building, with the subway exit and Myeongdong's main entrance right outside, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The elevator can occasionally have a short wait, but the overall location advantage is unbeatable. The room space isn't overly generous, but it's actually slightly larger than the Ibis next door. The main difference is that the Ibis front desk is on the ground floor, while this hotel's front desk is on the 17th floor, making direct access a bit less convenient. Considering the location and price, it offers great value for money, and the overall stay experience was very good. A very convenient hotel.
GGuest UserThe room had bunk beds, and the location was really convenient. It was only a 3-minute walk to the subway station, with a pharmacy and convenience store nearby. It's also very close to that popular spicy chicken feet place. My bed was near the restroom, so there was a slight musty smell, but overall it was quite clean. The first floor is a common area where you can do some simple cooking (like instant noodles and toast) and boil hot water. Check-in is at 3 PM daily. This is my second time staying here, and I'm still quite satisfied.
AAnonymous UserIt's not really excellent but You get what you payed for.
Aside from they only provide small size face towels.
My only complain is they should no longer provide towels with discolorations and stains.
Check in is strict 3pm
Check out is 11am
No elevator
No own kettle inside the room but u can use the pantry on the 4th floor with microwave.
Near subway station line9 naebang.
大大阪名物This hotel is just right for a 2-3 night stay. My check-in was scheduled for 5 PM, but when I asked if I could store my luggage, they actually let me check in at 3 PM. The nearest major station is Gangnam, so getting around by bus is quite convenient. If you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a taxi. Given the hilly area, a combination of bus and taxi would be ideal. I chose a standard double room, which is perfect for those who prefer showers. The only minor issue was a slight cigarette smell.
