Amazing
GGuest UserThe Shilla Hotel is great! 👍 The hotel's overall decor feels quite new, despite what I'd heard online about it being a 10-20 year old establishment. The actual environment is really good. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient. The 600 bus stops right outside the hotel for both pick-up and drop-off, running every 50 minutes. In the afternoon, the 2:20 PM bus goes from the hotel to the airport and takes about an hour. You can buy and top up a public transport card at any convenience store. My child absolutely loved the hotel pool. The hotel boasts three restaurants: a buffet, a Japanese restaurant, and a pool restaurant. We had breakfast and lunch at the buffet. For kids, it was RMB 154 on the first day and RMB 177 on the second. At the pool restaurant, we ordered abalone udon noodles. One bowl of noodles came with two small bowls of rice, which was more than enough for two people. The fried chicken was very greasy and a huge portion; I only managed to eat two pieces before giving up. However, the fries in the burger set were delicious! You can access the beach directly from the hotel. Even though it was raining, the sea was still beautifully blue.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a resort, a bit far from the city center, but you can get here by bus route 255. The Giant's Causeway is relatively close, about a 90 RMB taxi ride one way. My ground-floor room has a 'small garden,' but I felt it lacked privacy, as people on the higher floors opposite seemed able to see into my room. The front desk service was average. Shopping downstairs is convenient, but the brand selection isn't extensive, and the resort's restaurants are quite pricey.

GGuest UserFirst, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations. Now, for the pros: 1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance). 2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes. 3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English. 4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious. 5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport. Areas for improvement: 1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them). 2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better. Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

DDuoduobuduoVI have to say, it was seeing pictures of this hotel's infinity pool online that immediately made me book a flight to Jeju Island. The weather was perfect, and it was totally worth the trip. From the doorman to the front desk, the service was excellent and very welcoming. We stored our luggage and kept bothering the bellboys to get things out of our bags and change clothes, but the Korean staff enthusiastically helped us every time without any hint of impatience. Check-in wasn't until 3 PM, and we arrived at 11 AM. We went out for some BCH fried chicken, and when we came back before 2 PM, the front desk let us check into our room early. We didn't book a sea view because we spent all our time at the pool. We swam during the day and went back at night – the pool lighting at night was absolutely stunning. We only got back to the room at 10 PM and just went straight to sleep, which saved us some money. Although the room wasn't huge, it was very quiet, and the bedding was super comfortable and clean; I slept really well. The transportation is extremely convenient; the 600 bus is 4500 KRW per person, point-to-point to and from the airport. A taxi to the Jusangjeolli Cliff was also very convenient, only 6000 KRW. Most of the guests were Korean, not many Chinese. The brunch right outside the hotel is absolutely delicious. The hotel's boardwalk is also beautiful, leading straight down to a beach.

MMary vacationPlace was good and we could park the car well. The parking garage manager was really kind. The hotel has 7 eleven downstairs and also a laundry room if you pay (the wasmachine is really big so you could drop all your clothes at the end of the stay). The only little problem is the room is a bit small. We had quit big suitcases so if you bring big suitcases, book a bigger room or be smart when packing. The location is really nice only 2 minutes from the market and so many food options around the hotel!

GGuest UserFirst of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay. A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views. From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt. Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered 이승악식당 next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there. Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).

CCristyTMThis is my second time staying at Shin Shin Hotel Seogwipo. It's very well-located, near the bus stop, has many convenience stores within a 150m distance, close to cafes, restaurants, and Seogwipo Olle Market. I also love that there is a washing machine in every room. 🙌🏼 Moreover, they let me checkin a day late since I was stranded in Udo as ferry services between Udon and Jeju were suspended due to strong winds. I'd stay here again and again. 😃

GGuest UserGood and connvenient location, helpful staff. Parking is limited but there is free overnight parking at the nearby garage. room is clean and good for a solo traveller. However, the walls are rather thin? I could hear the neighbor snoring at night. they also only provide 2 small towels, no normal / large towel. The aircon also does not work during winter (nov-mar) so i had to open the windows but it’s fine.

KKai Szetoroom was clean and spacious for 3 adults. if driving, free parking available and self check in/out through a machine at the carpark lobby. Bottles of water provided every day based on number of pax. location is good, with a nearby local market with plenty of food. quite centralised, distance to hallim/ udo/ gapado are averaged 1hr drive away. Downside: there was only small face towels in the room, no normal big size towels. Probably bring your own towels. overall: will come back! good sea views
