Hotels near A&W @ KB Tesco in Kota Bharu

Arrived at 4 PM, the front desk wasn't very welcoming, and we had to wait a while for the room. Only after asking a second time did we get it. We specifically booked a newly renovated room; the cleanliness was decent, although there were occasional small ants in the bathroom, but it wasn't a major issue. We had to call for a hairdryer, but it was delivered quickly. Across from the hotel are two coffee shops and an E-Mart, plus a large shopping mall nearby with a huge supermarket inside. Breakfast was alright, but it was quite crowded.

One of the most enjoyable and memorable stay I have experienced in a long while. The resort was impeccably maintained and exceeded their advertised claims. The compound of the resort and the unit that I stayed in were very hygienacally maintained. All facilities such as air conditioning, WiFi, fans, fridges, etc. were without issues. The most heartfelt and significant experience were the warmth, friendliness and interactions with the staff and owners of the resort. The staff were very efficient and accommodating. The owners were genuine, authentic- wonderful hosts !! The heartfelt interactions, the meaningful insights, local knowledge and wisdoms imparted by both the hosts were THE highlights of the stay there. They were generous in deeds and in spirits. Please, please take some time to converse with them... They are wonderful people. For the uninitiated who are looking for an authentic ”kampung” experience and those who want to harken back to the days of when the once lived in a kampung, this resort will deliver the experience. I had a great stay at ibis KB. The hotel has a modern, stylish, and energetic atmosphere, with a fun design that feels different from a typical hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the overall room setup was practical. I also enjoyed the hotel’s lively common areas and relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is also convenient for exploring Putrajaya and the surrounding area. Overall, its a great choice if you’re looking for a modern, comfortable hotel with a youthful and vibrant atmosphere. I would definitely consider staying here again.

A night at Jewels Hotel, Kota Bharu – charmingly modest yet full of pleasant surprises. We snagged a room for RM152, and despite its appearance as a budget establishment, it turned out to be delightfully comfortable. The room was spacious, elegant, beautifully furnished, everything one needs to unwind after a day of exploring. Only one small hiccup: toiletries were basic — a 3-in-1 shower gel (shampoo + conditioner) plus towel, and that’s it. No toothbrush, paste, cotton buds and so on. If those were included, I’d be rating it an A+. Some interesting colour: Jewels Hotel was formerly known as Habib Hotel and is part of the HABIB Group. Its theme, as you might guess, revolves around “jewels”, reflected in its decor and name. All in all, for value and comfort right in the heart of Kota Bharu, it hits the spot — perfect for travellers on the go wanting something pleasant without breaking the bank.

I liked that it is near the river, it is calming to see the view and the river flow and people playing jet ski in Kelantan river, it's calming. the staff is accomodating and helpful, but it is an old hotel so the room may show the sign of it like the condition of wallpaper. the breakfast is great tho with nice variety and it's good

We stayed at the Crown Garden Hotel for two nights and had a lovely experience overall. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, with comfortable bedding that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were attentive and friendly from check-in to check-out, always ready to help with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, though it did get a bit crowded during peak hours. The garden area mentioned in the hotel’s name lived up to expectations — a peaceful spot to relax with a coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening. A few minor drawbacks: the Wi-Fi was a little spotty in some parts of the building, and the elevator was slow during busy times. Nothing major, but worth noting.

Instructions for the key and access to the unit was clear and easy. They provided enough information including where to park which was very convenient. The unit is acceptable, however the carpet and sofa was used and you can see stains over it. Towels and basic toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste is provided. There's also a water dispenser, kitchen utensils, for basic kitchen needs. Overall, the location is good and comes with an incredible sunset view.

Our stay at 2BR Premium Suites Troika Kota Bharu by AGhome was very pleasant and comfortable. The unit is spacious, well-maintained, and ideal for families or small groups who value space and privacy. The two-bedroom suite is clean, modern, and neatly arranged, with comfortable beds and a cozy living area. The overall ambiance feels premium and well taken care of, making it suitable for both short and longer stays. Basic amenities are well provided, and the unit offers a homely yet stylish atmosphere. One of the highlights is the strategic location. Situated in Troika Kota Bharu, the property is conveniently close to the city centre, eateries, shopping areas, and key attractions around Kota Bharu. Getting around is easy, which adds great value to the stay. The price is reasonable and worth the value considering the size of the unit, comfort, and location. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and efficient, making the overall experience hassle-free. Overall, 2BR Premium Suites Troika Kota Bharu by AGhome is a great choice for travellers looking for a clean, spacious, and well-located accommodation in Kota Bharu. Highly recommended, especially for families and group travellers.

A good place to stay for a short trip. Everything is ok  for a good restaurant to eat with so many choices. I will repeat my stay..

Booked the hotel last minute and access was possible therefore much appreciated. The living is indeed large and spacious as photographed. However, suprising that the main bedroom was the twin room whilst the 2nd bedroom with double bed tucked into a corner with single side access. All beddings were clean and fresh. However, there is only 1 bathroom worth pointing out if this is missed out. The unit is smoke free so great for those like us who hates smell of smoke. To further add, the shower trays and bidet holder could all have been properly repaired or renewed and hope future guests can enjoy better.
