"This is a 'grand hotel' set right in the heat of the Old Town, just off the corner of the main square, so perfectly located! The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is plentiful, although the coffee machine didn't produce the best drinks. We were slightly disappointed that it didn't have an open bar, although on our last night the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to sit there, and served us drinks. We were told that it would be open regularly when the season picked up in a couple of weeks time. It really didn't put us off. Staff were really friendly. There's a mini-bar in the rooms - which is seldom seen these days, and there were a couple of bottles of free water provided each day. Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and would consider the hotel again."

There is also no refrigerator in the room. The rooms have fans but no air conditioning, and there is no private or communal microwave. These facilities are very much needed in a hotel of this kind of reputation. Please look into these improvements. . "The hotel consists of three old and new buildings, which makes the internal circulation confusing. I got lost several times. I had to go up half a floor to the third floor, and the elevator didn't work, so I had to carry my luggage by myself. I had to go around and around to find the breakfast room."

Originally, the two drunk people were happily chatting and singing in the room, but then a few more people came in and started shouting loudly, which lasted for about two hours before they left. midnight…… 1:15 someone came in At 4:50, a man came in, started taking a shower, and began talking. "It was a bit difficult to find the hotel since it doesn't have a nameboard in front of the first entrance. You should definitely call the hotel before you go there because you can't enter the building without going through the locked gate. I actually didn't contact the hotel beforehand and couldn't even find the entrance when I arrived. I made a call and the clerk kindly came in front of the building to find me and guided me to the reception. She was so kind and helpful. The room was good enough for a single short stay too."

"Excellent location,and good value for money. Staff friendly enough, helpful with any queries to the best of their ability. Very spacious bedroom with tv, with seperate living area and settee, tv, fridge and hot drinks facilities. Negatives that some may pick up on, if situated facing the main road, did appear quite noisy from traffic and trams (personally, i managed to sleep fine) very comfortable bed. It would have been nice to be able to open a window to let fresh air in. Would and have recommended hotel to friends/family Thank you Hotel Maximun"

Being able to step out and instantly explore the beautiful streets, historic landmarks, and charming cafes was a huge plus. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kraków.
