Our booking experience this time was quite unique. Our Scoot flight arrived at Changi Airport at 3 AM, and we were exhausted. Airport accommodations weren't ideal—either couches or very expensive. Then it hit us: why not check Trip.com for hotels with midnight check-in? And we found one! Check-in was incredibly smooth, with staff even on duty at 4 AM. This is an economy hostel, but the room style is very minimalist and nostalgic, giving off a 'luxurious university dorm' vibe. The bedding was comfortable, and the bedside charging station and lamp were excellent. Plus, all beds have privacy curtains, making you feel like you're back in your university days. It gave our family of three an incredibly good night's sleep after a red-eye flight. While it might not be the top choice for families, it's definitely an option for young travelers visiting Singapore. 👍

Overall, the stay at Value Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience generally nice. However, one downside is the lack of a proper lobby or designated area for taxi pick-up and drop-off. It can be a bit inconvenient when booking rides, especially during busy hours, as drivers may have difficulty locating the exact spot.

This hotel is, hands down, one of the best value-for-money stays I've ever had! The price during Chinese New Year was incredibly reasonable. The room had a window, so it was bright and clean, and the bathroom smelled fresh and reassuring. Eugene, one of the front desk staff, was exceptionally friendly and responsible. He even helped my friend switch to a room with a window. Every day he'd greet us, making us feel right at home. Plus, they offer free luggage storage. The hotel's surroundings are also very quiet, and there's a bus stop right downstairs, which is super convenient (many buses in Singapore are double-deckers, offering a great way to sightsee!).

It was our 3rd time staying here. Receptionists all of them were helpful. The hotel is good value for money and the bus stop and in front of hotel. Next door is local hawker and a walking distance to Shaw plaza if you need anything else, the laundromat just right near bus stop. 24 hours reception, Aaron was helped us with loading the luggage in the taxi. The house keeping was nice to us, we impressed the Myanmar housekeeping, she was very polite and cleaned our room even though I told her just empty the bin and change the towel. We will be back next time. Thank you Family travel with young children.

I had a pleasant staycation at Holiday Inn Express Novena Singapore—the room was clean and comfortable, I enjoyed a refreshing morning swim, and the breakfast with eggs and sourdough bread, even though there were no slippers or complimentary water (which I was prepared for). Location: many convenient  store & u need to take bus in order to go the velocity mall.

Do not judge a book by its cover would be the theme of this hotel. Conveniently located just opposite City Square Mall and Farrer Park MRT station, the hotel has plenty of good eateries, including the famous Mui Siong bak chor mee about 400m away in Veerasamy Road. There are also many 24-hour restaurants nearby, and of course the always open Mustafa Shopping Centre. The room was newly-renovated and had very clean and comfy bedsheets. There is a big TV screen, a fridge, a cool-looking kettle and the toilet was clean as well. But the best thing about the hotel was its staff, especially Moonisha and Tara, who helped make the check-in process seamless and painless. They also went out of their way to allow me to deposit my luggage a day ahead of check-in. But the management had a weird policy of accepting only physical NRIC id cards for check-in, and did not allow use of Singpass id, which didnt make sense and caused a fair bit of inconvenience.

We recently stayed at Kam Leng Hotel for 2 days, and overall it was a decent experience for the price. From Changi Airport to the hotel, it took almost an hour via MRT, which was manageable. Upon arrival, the hotel staff at the lobby were very approachable, friendly, and professional. Check in was smooth as we simply presented our booking confirmation. However, we were a bit disappointed with the room. The listing on Trip.com showed a room with windows, but the room we received did not have one. The only window was in the bathroom, and the view was just an emergency exit ladder. On the positive side, the room itself was clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable and well-maintained. Amenities included a kettle, coffee mugs, and complimentary bottled water for two. The Android TV was a nice bonus for entertainment, and the lighting was adequate, with a dim option suitable for sleeping. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room whenever we were out. One issue we encountered was a power outage that lasted around 15 minutes when we returned to the room, which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully, it was resolved shortly. The bathroom was clean and well kept, with a reliable hot water supply. Despite a few drawbacks, for its affordable price, I would still recommend this hotel. It is also conveniently located just a short walk from nearby parks and leisure attractions in Singapore.

simple budget hotel, friendly counter staff, not much issue. but i have to say, its budget hotel, so... dont look too deep into the cleanliness, however, staying for a night to just sleep wont be an issue at all. hot water is also available and filtered water safe to drink. overall is cheap and good. no complaints.

i can’t believe i had a great deep sleep, honestly. though the noise from the outside/hallways can be heard, it didn’t bother me that much since it just gets noisy when someone is checking-in or going out. it is also important to take note that the building does not have elevator and hair dryer. there is also a 1-minute walk bus station and stops at novena station. however, if you’re coming from novena station, you need to walk at least 12-16 minutes to reach the accommodation. overall, my experience is great and will surely check-in again if i needed a stay in singapore.

Visited during Chinese New Year with my kids. The hotel is conveniently located right above Novena MRT station, with direct access to the station from B3. Getting to the airport requires two transfers and takes about an hour. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The MRT station also connects to two shopping malls, offering plenty of food options and supermarkets, which is really handy.
