"I specifically booked this hotel to attend a concert at Star Vista. It's only tens of meters away from the venue, so after the show, there was no need to rush back. The hotel room was very clean, equipped with toiletries and disposable slippers (though I'd recommend bringing your own for better comfort). The shower and toilet were separated, and the surroundings were very quiet, ensuring two nights of excellent sleep. The staff were friendly and could communicate in basic English. Since there was an available room, they allowed me to check in an hour early. Also, they didn't charge the 50 SGD deposit that Trip.com had warned me about. The housekeeping was very thorough; they even folded my pajamas neatly! 😃"

"I was planning a surprise birthday staycation in Singapore for my boyfriend, so I contacted the hotel to ask if they could assist with any special arrangements. They immediately offered to help with some simple decorations, which I really appreciated. What surprised me even more was that they upgraded our room to a Club Room, which was much more spacious than the standard room. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the infinity pool. Staying at this hotel honestly made us feel like we were on a relaxing overseas holiday without having to leave Singapore. It was such a lovely experience, and the thoughtful service made my boyfriend’s birthday even more special. A really great option if you looking for a place just to relax and chill, will definitely come back again soon 😇"

"My second stay here! I absolutely love the green view from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room. It puts me in a great mood whether I'm waking up or coming back from a day out. The room isn't cleaned daily, but you can coordinate with the front desk for cleaning times and towel changes! The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk to the nearest subway station."

"Great stay, hotel is slightly old but cleanliness is good, curtains and carpet are not dusty. Has a QR code to scan for additional amenities. Amenities provided are good brand. Beds are a bit short for tall people but quite comfortable. For quad room, the additional two beds are a bit hard. Shuttle service provided doesn’t match checkout timing did not use it. Walking to bus stop for free Bus A and Bus B is quite a distance, takes 10mins, alternatively for a scenic route, can walk through a short forest trail at main road to get to Imbiah monorails station, will take 15mins. All the routes are not flat, has slopes. Breakfast selection is good enough, hash brown, braised eggs and porridge are good, cook your own noodles station is quite easy to do, only take less than 2mins. Get a complimentary cake if celebrating anything, when check in they will pass u a card to redeem the cake and complimentary drinks at Tearoom L2(dine in only)."

"The room was very spacious and well-designed, featuring a double vanity in the bathroom and a separate sink in the toilet area. The balcony offered a fantastic view. It's just a few minutes' walk from Orchard Road to ION. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. You can even see the Edison Hotel directly across from our building."

"The hotel is located in a relatively lively area with plenty of places to explore nearby. However, getting to the subway isn't very convenient. Also, if your room is facing the road after check-in, I'd suggest asking for a change, as the soundproofing of the windows is really not up to par."

"The hotel's surroundings are very convenient. It's close to the subway station, and Kampong Glam is right next door. There are plenty of places to eat and stroll around nearby. For the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, it was quite a good hotel."

"It’s always a nice stay experience here. The room is just the fine size, but worth the price. It’s clean, the staffs are nice and do their job properly. Location is not at the center of city, but it’s exactly above the Lavender MRT station, so you can just go anywhere easily by MRT. Now they have water filter too, so you won’t get dehydrated!"

"Hotel location is excellent and steps away from MRT. Room lighting not working as intended. Individual light switch not functioning, only master switch is working. No facility or maintenance staff at night. Mattress is aged, lack of support. In room phone not working. Bathtub shower height not convenient for elderly. Breakfast acceptable, but coffee machine need some upgrade. The hotel need a complete refurbishment, current state in my humble opinion don't meet hotel standards at that price point. Front desk staff service are excellent, commendation to Mr Surend for trying his best to make our stay pleasant, despite having issues with room facility. Overall, hotel room in poor condition but the hospitality makes up for the part it lacks. They have the people, but the hardware definitely require major upgrade. "Overall, it's an okay stay. Pros: The room is spacious, much better than the previous one, probably about 10 square meters larger. Location: It's within a 10-minute walk from the subway station, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. Cons: It's a bit old, just slightly better than a guesthouse."
