The location is excellent, right on Orchard Road. There's a bus stop directly outside, and the MRT is less than a 5-minute walk away. It's surrounded by large shopping malls, with ION diagonally opposite and Watsons right across the street, where you can buy medicine. Ya Kun Kaya Toast, a Singaporean breakfast favorite, is just a few steps from the MRT exit. It's super convenient to get to all the major attractions, and there's even an affordable supermarket opposite. The hotel facilities are great, it's very clean, and the environment is five-star, plus it offers excellent value for money. Prices were very friendly during the off-peak season! The rooms are much more spacious than other hotels. The service is very attentive, and you can store your luggage. I'll definitely stay here again next time, I'm extremely satisfied.
Facilities: The room is very spacious, perfect even with a baby. Besides the bathroom sink, there's another sink and counter similar to a kitchenette outside, which is super convenient for washing baby items!
Cleanliness: The hygiene is also very good, it's just that the wooden floor has some noticeable scratches.
Environment: The surrounding environment is excellent, close to the subway station, and there's a shopping mall nearby, which is very convenient.
Service: The staff service is also very good.
Breakfast: Although it's à la carte, it's still quite good.

The hotel was a little run down from the lobby, but the rooms were acceptable but far from being great.

Initially, I booked this hotel through a Trip.com promotion, so I didn't do much research for my Singapore trip. Given the price, which I found quite affordable, the smaller room size was understandable.
The location seems to be near Orchard Road. There's a bus stop about a five-minute walk away, and the subway station is probably 8-10 minutes. My reservation didn't include breakfast, so on the first day, I walked to the nearest Ya Kun Kaya Toast.
The hotel provides standard amenities like slippers and toothbrushes, so you don't need to bring your own. The door lock looked a bit old, which might have contributed to my poor sleep on the second night – either due to poor soundproofing or someone knocking on my door. It made me feel a bit less secure. Singapore's climate means it's a bit humid. I personally get cold easily, so I didn't use the air conditioning at night. Overall, I think it's a suitable place to stay.

A standout feature of the hotel is its exceptional dining selection, with five highly regarded restaurants and bars, including Estate, Ginger.Lily, Osteria Mozza, one-MICHELIN-starred Shisen Hanten and the iconic local restaurant Chatterbox. The hotel is also directly connected to a multi-storey shopping gallery offering additional dining and retail experiences.
Guests can enjoy two 24-hour fitness centres and an outdoor swimming pool, making Hilton Singapore Orchard an ideal choice for a convenient, all-in-one Orchard Road stay.

Hotel is very clean and spacious. Check in staff walked out of her counter and brought us to the lobby to show us where to take the lift up and also Whatsapp us to check if everything is ok after we reach the hotel room. We were also given late check out upon signing up as Hilton member. Impressive service from the reception staffs. However, staffs at the restaurant lacks of smile and aunty was very eager to clear our plates which interrupts our dinner. Hope they can be more friendly especially those who work at the restaurant in the morning.

Surprised about hotel room upgrade from queen size bed to king size bed! Room was spacious enough to put several large luggages together on the floor. The amazing location juz opposite Takashimaya and Paragon and mosque@Orchard Road. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and approachable. Asian buffet style breakfast@Eden restaurant - normally can only find plain porridge but here surprisingly we found delicious fish porridge with no fishy smell! Thank you, Pullman hotel for excellent services.

Great
GGuest UserThe Shangri-La Singapore boasts an excellent location, offering a serene and elegant environment with beautiful garden views. The check-in experience is relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, with a full range of toiletries provided. The overall service is attentive and thoughtful, with warm and polite staff. The breakfast selection is extensive. The only minor drawback is that some facilities are slightly older, but they are well-maintained and clean, which doesn't affect the stay at all. Overall, it offers good value for money, making it a great choice for a trip.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall right downstairs and Lau Pa Sat nearby, making dining very convenient. The decor is modern, and there's even a small kitchenette. The best part is being able to go up to the 51st floor for amazing views of Singapore.
AAishuishui1025## Facilities:
The facilities are quite new and spacious enough. However, the online reviews about poor soundproofing and mosquitoes are true. I was woken up in the middle of the night by people chatting next door, possibly returning from their night out. And when people talk in the hallway, it sounds like they're right in your room.
## Environment:
Banyan Tree focuses on a pristine, secluded, and very rainforest-like atmosphere. But this particular area is clearly geared towards families, with most guests likely coming for the convenient access to the zoo. However, the overall amenities aren't very family-friendly. The pool closes at 7 PM, so we barely got to use it.
## Hygiene:
The room's hygiene was decent, but mosquitoes appeared out of nowhere, and my son ended up with four big bites.
## Service:
It was okay; we didn't really experience much in terms of service. But when we asked for directions, they were extremely helpful and guided us precisely.
## Location:
The hotel's location is indeed excellent. You can reach the Night Safari directly via a covered walkway, which protects you from rain and sun.
## Breakfast:
The Chinese breakfast was just so-so.
--chenchen-The hotel is quite new overall, and the location is super convenient. I only stayed one night for a city layover, so here are the pros and cons:
**Pros:**
1. It's very easy to get to all the attractions, many are within walking distance. It's also close to the City Hall MRT station, and popular internet-famous restaurants and coconut milk tea shops are nearby.
2. We checked in with our child, and the staff immediately gave us a little snack bag for the kids. While it's not a family-themed hotel, it made a better impression than some dedicated family hotels.
**Minor Cons (not dealbreakers):**
1. We were given an adjoining room, which made me feel quite insecure. I actually moved the coffee table to block the door before I could sleep.
2. The toilet paper in the bathroom was very sparse! And the toilet flush button was incredibly, incredibly hard to press – you needed a lot of force. We initially thought it was broken.
3. We'd just spent three nights in Sentosa where the minibar was fully stocked and complimentary every day. In contrast, this hotel, at a similar price point, had an empty fridge, which was a bit of a shock. It really hit home that 'it's hard to go from luxury to frugality.'
4. Perhaps it's because efficiency is so high back home, but checking into hotels in Singapore feels incredibly slow. My child kept asking when we would finally be done.
**Overall:** I'd still recommend this hotel for business travelers and tourists.
GGuest UserI stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller.
The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.
GGuest UserOriginally booked this hotel for shits and giggles coz of Anthropic Claude. This place is obsessively clean. I’m talking about the kind of clean that makes you suspicious — like maybe they have a team that just polishes doorknobs all day. Everything is spotless. Even the complimentary laundry room (which, yes, is FREE with detergent pods included) looks surgical. Zero lint. No detergent residue. No mysterious washing machine funk. Just pure, sparkling cleanliness. For someone as particular as me about hygiene, this was an unexpected jackpot. If I could give it 6 stars I would.
Location is solid: walking distance to Chinatown, Maxwell Hawker Centre, Keong Saik Road’s fancy food scene, and two MRT stations (Chinatown and Maxwell). The outdoor courtyard smells like fresh lemon balm disinfectant, which is oddly specific but very reassuring. There’s also a complimentary minibar, which feels generous for a compact room.
The double bed room I booked was small but accurately described during booking, so no gotcha moments. If you’re short like me, the bed’s perfectly comfortable. They’ve maximized storage cleverly: luggage space, safety box, mini fridge under the bed. The courtyard becomes your unofficial living room since the actual room is just… bed.
The Meh
The rain shower is a mystery. I still don’t know how to use it without turning the bathroom into a wading pool. The handheld showerhead has weak water pressure, though the bathroom itself is otherwise excellent. So clean!!! You can feel the MRT rumbling underneath (acceptable noise level), but the real problem is Leila, the bar downstairs. If you’re into nightlife, great! If you’re trying to sleep on the second floor, less great. I could hear thumping bar music until late. Front desk was gracious and delivered earplugs promptly when I asked, so points for responsiveness.
Walking around during rainy season would be a drag.
The Verdict
Would stay again for overnight layover purely for the cleanliness. Thanks for the random pick, Claude (both the AI and the hotel). 🧼✨🤖
贤贤蛋The room was spacious and had a nice bay view. However, the bathroom was not as depicted in the photos. The shower was in the tub itself and not beside it. Tub was set in the ground and we found a caterpillar and ants around.
Breakfast was very lacking in variety. Not worth paying for.
On Mon morning, we were woken very early by a loud engine noise. A worker was cleaning the wooden decks right outside and it lasted until late afternoon.
JJay Sae LeeWe were going to store our luggage before checking in, but luckily the front desk staff Mr. Faddilli assisted us for an early check in. We were very happy for the early check in. The hotel location is superb and the lobby is very spacious. But there were not much amenities provided for a 4 star hotel. Overall we are satisfied.
YYueguangxiadewanzilunFor a country as expensive as Singapore 🇸🇬, a hostel priced in the 100s is definitely great value for money. Many local Chinese people stay here, and you can learn about Singapore's history by chatting with them. The closest MRT stations are Lavender and Jalan Besar, and it's also very near Little India, making it super convenient to get to all of Singapore's major attractions. There's a food court right downstairs, which is probably one of the cheapest dining options in Singapore, helping you save a lot on food. I stayed here for three days and thought it was pretty good!
AAnonymous UserUgh, I forgot to take photos, so I'll use some random ones instead. First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
