Hotels near UD Town in Udon Thani

Nice pool. Good service and amenities Bathrooms are dated but okay. Rooms are renovated. Parking can be a bit annoying during weekends. As central is full with shoppers. Airconditioning isn’t ice cold in all rooms ….. could be improved.

Check in and check out were both fast and efficient, and no deposit was required which is a huge plus, GSAs were polite. The room is clean, and spacious enough, and the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the room full of all the amenities that you need. However the TV is not a smart TV, no Netflix or YouTube, and mostly Thai channels only. The biggest issue is the air conditioning. Guests have no control over the AC in the room, you cannot adjust the temperature, fan speed, or turn it on or off yourself. Even simple situations, like wanting to turn the AC off temporarily, require calling reception, this is very inconvenient. Guests have different comfort needs throughout the day and night, for example while showering and you wanna turn it off to avoid catching a cold. It is not possible without calling reception. Having to contact the front desk every time for such basic adjustments is not really guest-friendly. The gym is very small and has almost no machines, so it’s quite limited. Restaurant staff were friendly, the food was good, and room service was good.

The room has a traditional Thai style and is located close to a shopping mall. You can walk around and shop in the nearby area, making it quite convenient for exploring.

We came as family and booked our rooms (2 rooms with king bed) through trip.com. The hotel is quite relatively new and clean. However the service needs some improvements. When we got to the hotel, we asked if we could have our rooms near by each other as we travelled with small kids. The front desk told us that they are full and only have twin bed room which is connecting to the one bed room. However, we asked if the twins bed could be put together and if the hotel can use the blanket to over the bed so that the separation is covered and easy to sleep, but they said no they can only push the beds together and that was it. To us that was not helpful in my view. They can at least offer extra blanket which we can do it ourselves. We got one room on 3rd and one on 5th floor. We found that the hallway of the 5th floor had very strong smell (not sure what it was, but it smelled very strong like some sort of chemical). When reported to the front desk, she noted, but nothing seemed to happened as we could still smell it on the second day. The room on the 3rd floor (318) the AC was leaking and the water was all over the floor. Our son was running and almost fall over, but luckily he held on the wall and didn't tip over. We called the hotel and asked if they can send someone. The hotel staff came and fixed it, but still the AC still leaked the next day (see photos). I also asked the mechanic to check the smell on the 5th floor. It seemed what they did was to spray it with some air freshener to cover the smell. So i finally asked if we could move to the same floor even if it was a twin-beds room. It would be good if the hotel guard could help their guests when driving out to the street as sometimes when the cars are parked near the exit/entrance, we couldn't see the car coming very well, and this could be a road safety issue. Also when there is a heavy traffic, the hotel guard could help their guests to get in and out by stopping the car or asking the car to not block the entrance/exit. I found that the housekeepers were the most helpful staff at this hotel. They were genuinely kind and helpful. I wish the front desk could be a bit more genuine (without giving their guests the 'look”, but instead offer some support and help or alternatives. We want express our thanks to the housekeeper and the mechanic for their helpful service throughout our stay despite the issues that we faced during our stay.

The room is big, clean. The bed is also big. The toilet is very clean. It is hard to get a clean room with a cheap price. On this stay, the water heater doesn't work. I told the staff to fix it. They were so nice with service mind. After trying several times, the machine still doesn't work. The owner provided me another room which they had checked the water heater machine. All staff here have a service mind. However, the new room that I got smelled cigarette a little bit. Overall, I like this hotel.

The hotel pictures completely misrepresent this hotel. The rooms are worn and older , needing redecoration and the pictures shown bear no resmblance to the actual room. To be fair the bathroom was newish. We stayed across the street at THE OLD INN. Same price , giant rooms , much better

I had such a wonderful stay here for my birthday! I spent two nights at the hotel, and everything made the celebration feel extra special. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The room was clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing, and the atmosphere of the hotel made the whole experience even more memorable. I truly appreciated the little details that made my birthday feel celebrated. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

We stay here fairly regularly, the standard rooms are so so, very basic with very little in the room. The suites are better equipped. Parking is a bit tight and limited spaces. Plenty of bars nearby and the noise doesn't generally disturb us. Also restaurants nearby and Central Plaza less than 10 minutes walk.

Loft/warehouse style hotel located on Saphan Road, in the expat area of town. Short walking distance from Central Mall, UD town, train and bus stations. Hotel provides a simple self service breakfast until 10.30am. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. There’re a few English language channels on cable tv. Rooms are cleaned daily.
