"The room was a bit small but very clean and quiet. I felt very safe thanks to the secure access at the hotel entrance. Its location is excellent, being less than a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and with a bus stop right outside, transportation is incredibly convenient."

"The hotel is in a great location, right near Union Square. If you like walking, you can practically reach all the downtown attractions on foot from here. Interestingly, when you enter through the side door of the hotel, there's a cable car parked inside – I'm not sure if it's for display or still operational, but I did take a ride on a cable car at a station near the hotel later. Inside the room, beyond the towels and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, there was nothing else. Not even a disposable shower cap. There was no complimentary bottled water either. While there was a capsule coffee machine, there was no kettle, so I had to ask the housekeeper for one. The bar on the 46th floor has fantastic views; it's a great spot for a drink and to enjoy San Francisco at night. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but I'm sure it's nice too."

"We were very happy with our stay. This was our first time in San Francisco, traveling with 3 teenagers. We were able to book 2 adjoining rooms for a decent price. Having the extra space was very helpful. Location wise was perfect for us - we were able to walk to the Giants game, Chinatown, the Ferry Building, Pier 39 (but that was a hike and we took an uber back) and the trolley system. Service was quick and helpful when we needed it. And the extra security at night was reassuring. We would recommend this hotel for adults and families with older kids."

"The location was good and convenient, although there were a few homeless people nearby. The room was a little small, but it was clean and comfortable enough for our stay. The main issue was the air conditioning, which could definitely be improved. Overall, a decent place for the price."

"We were very satisfied with the staff’s service and the simple breakfast, which had a small but well-curated selection. However, it would be helpful to inform guests in advance that connecting rooms are not available. We experienced several infrastructure issues, including loud bathroom fan noise (even after changing rooms), a TV remote not working due to battery problems, and occasional elevator outages, which caused inconvenience for both guests and staff. Despite this, the staff’s service mindset was excellent"

"Honestly, this hotel is great. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is good, with hot water available. The room is quite spacious, very clean, and quiet, with no noise. The bed is large and comfortable for sleeping. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. It's very close to the subway station, and public transportation nearby is convenient. Union Square is not far if you head north. You might encounter some unique individuals in this area of San Francisco while out and about, but just keep walking your own path. The hotel itself is excellent."

"This hotel is well-managed. There's a self check-in and check-out on the 3rd floor, and the security guard at the entrance is very welcoming. This is a chain hotel, with locations in both San Francisco and LA. It's right in downtown San Francisco, very close to Union Square, making it super convenient for getting around. The window view is also quite nice."

"The location is super convenient, right across from Union Square. The room isn't huge but it's enough, though the central AC is old and only goes up to 68°F. Late February in SF is quite cold, and I ended up catching a cold. I had to wear a light down jacket and pile on blankets. The staff were all very polite, and luggage storage was free. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. Heading east from the hotel, the main cable car line is easily accessible. I stayed for five days, using two lines back and forth, and bought two 3-day Muni passes. It served as both my commute and a way to explore all the attractions along the way. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. There are far fewer homeless people to the east of the hotel; I wouldn't recommend heading west. Overall, the value for money in this area is quite high!"

"I enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel 4 nights. This is an heritage building where they well preserved the original features.the rooms are very nicely decorated,quote and clean. The staff is very professional and friendly and they always try to help guests. The hotel does not have breakfast room: but in the surroundings there are several option for a good breakfast. Just on ground floor is located “ Corzetti” an italian restaurant open for lunch and diner and always busy: considering we are in USA - where average food is pure poison- you can have a decent meal at Corzetti. . I will return in this hotel anytime in San Francisco"

"Stayed at Timbri Hotel San Francisco and loved the modern design and friendly service. 🏨✨ The room was clean, stylish, and super comfortable, plus the rooftop bar offered amazing city views. 🌇 However, the area around the hotel can feel a bit rough, especially at night, so I mostly stayed in or used rideshare after dark.
