Welcome to our San Francisco and Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel.
Strategically positioned in the heart of the Wharf district, the Holiday Inn Express® & Suites San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf offers guests an excellent location in the midst of the bustling waterfront area.
Since our location is just two blocks from cable car lines, you can see the "City by the Bay" on one of the iconic trolleys! Take the family and explore the California Academy of Sciences and Walt Disney Family Museum. Golden Gate Park and Golden Gate Recreation Area are located in downtown San Francisco, also.
Our hotel is also located near the Financial District, Art Institute and Academy of Art University. Levi Strauss, Williams-Sonoma and Diversity Alliance are nearby in downtown San Francisco. Corporate guests appreciate our onsite Business Center and we make life much easier on the road with our onsite meeting rooms and free Internet access.

Easy check-in with friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and included breakfast.
The location is very convenient—within walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, with plenty of restaurants, the aquarium, bus tour meeting points, ferries across the bay, and boats to Alcatraz Island.
There is also easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge by bus, cable car, or even a leisurely jog.
The only downside is that no bottled water was provided, whereas other IHG Hotels & Resorts properties I’ve stayed at offer unlimited bottled water.
Overall, I got exactly what I expected from Holiday Inn—a consistently satisfactory stay.

A San Francisco Icon with Breathtaking Views
My recent stay at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of classic elegance and impeccable service. The hotel's location atop Nob Hill offers unparalleled panoramic views of San Francisco – a true feast for the eyes.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, blending modern comfort with timeless style. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the luxurious linens to the well-stocked amenities. Of course, the highlight for many is the Top of the Mark, the hotel's legendary cocktail lounge. Sipping a perfectly crafted drink while watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge is an experience I won't soon forget.
Beyond the stunning views and luxurious accommodations, what truly sets the Mark Hopkins apart is its exceptional staff. Very Hippie style hotel. You can have free coffee in the morning and free wine during evening time. You also can play music with turntables in your room. The most funny thing is you could choose one plant in the front desk and bring to your room.

The hotel is in a great location, right near Union Square. If you like walking, you can practically reach all the downtown attractions on foot from here. Interestingly, when you enter through the side door of the hotel, there's a cable car parked inside – I'm not sure if it's for display or still operational, but I did take a ride on a cable car at a station near the hotel later. Inside the room, beyond the towels and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, there was nothing else. Not even a disposable shower cap. There was no complimentary bottled water either. While there was a capsule coffee machine, there was no kettle, so I had to ask the housekeeper for one. The bar on the 46th floor has fantastic views; it's a great spot for a drink and to enjoy San Francisco at night. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but I'm sure it's nice too.

We stayed in a deluxe city view room at Hilton Financial District—beautiful views and a warm welcome! The TV greeted us with a personalized “Welcome Cristopher,” which was a thoughtful touch. Staff were friendly and let us check in early. Great location near Chinatown, with amazing food—thanks to Denmark for recommending House of Nanking! Room was clean and well-priced.

Facilities: The industrial-style decor is evident, even the wardrobe is metal. The room amenities meet daily needs. As is common in US hotels, slippers and toothbrushes are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own. The hairdryer is a bit old and not very powerful, so it takes a while to dry long hair. A free laundry room is a great perk!
Service: The staff are all very enthusiastic.
Environment: It's a 15-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf, so transportation is very convenient, and the surrounding area is also quite good.

The hotel has a pleasant location with several restaurants and bars nearby.
There aren't as many homeless people as you might think, but you shouldn't go down the hill; it gets quite bad there.
The elevator isn't for people who are afraid of heights.
The reception staff were very friendly.
The room was adequate for one person, and you can open a window.
Bring your own shower gel; only shampoo, conditioner, and a bar of soap are provided.
All in all, I would book this hotel again if I'm ever in San Francisco.

The most important thing is that parking is free, and the environment is just like that. You can walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown nearby. Check out at 11 o'clock and agree to let our car park until 14:00, but the luggage is not stored, saying that she has no space, let us put it in the car. Is it safe to ask? She said she was there, and the camera, no problem.

Even though I booked a room with a private bathroom, it was still hostel-standard. I had to get the bedding from the front desk and make the bed myself. For check-out, I had to strip the bedding and return it to the front desk to get my deposit back. There's no elevator, so I had to carry my heavy luggage up myself. The room had no table or chairs, many of the bedside USB outlets were broken, and the room heater was faulty and never properly fixed. In short, it's not suitable for families.

The room was clean and tidy. It's conveniently located right next to Union Square, offering a quiet retreat despite being in a busy area. Getting around is easy with the subway, bus, and cable car stops all nearby. There are also plenty of attractions within walking or a short ride away.

Great
DDavGaoMy favorite CitizenM hotel, the experience was as great as always. The downtown area is right downstairs, and even though it's a bit messy, I never felt unsafe. It's also very close to the tram station. Just a heads up, the 'dangerous' tenderloin district isn't too far from here.
CChalisa SinlapasornI like this place. It’s convenient to get around and close to important locations, including public transportation stations. However, I would like to deduct points for the housekeeping service. I requested two towel replacements, and while they did replace them, I received one bath towel and one floor mat instead of two towels.
GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy their wine & cheese. Contact them on WhatsApp +1 (415) 297-6891 to discuss rooms available.
Ccarrie2000This hotel feels very good, the layout and facilities of the hotel are very atmospheric, the service attitude is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation are very convenient.
EErbasOur stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great.
Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience.
We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.
GGuest UserThis Hotel has great customer service all the way through. It is in a prime location basically a block from Fisherman’s Wharf. The rooms are a little small, the bathroom is as well. They have a vanity outside of the room with the only bathroom switch which I thought was weird. I requested a quiet room and I got exactly that so beggars can’t be choosers. All in all it’s a good hotel especially when you are out and about in the City.
AAnonymous UserHotel Spero offers a charming boutique stay in San Francisco with stylish decor, friendly staff, and eco-friendly touches. Rooms are cozy, and the location is convenient but can be busy. At Jasper, the hotel’s restaurant, the yogurt parfait is a fresh and light breakfast option with creamy yogurt, berries, and granola. A great choice for comfort and character.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is convenient, about 800 meters' walk to the Civic Center/UN Plaza metro station, and close to Union Square and Chinatown. However, there are many homeless people in the surrounding streets, which makes the environmental smell a bit strong. Although the room is a bit cramped, it is generally clean and tidy. The blackout curtains are excellent, and there are plenty of power outlets near the desk and bed. The bath towels are very new and pleasant to use. Breakfast is served from 7-10 AM, but the variety is simple.
GGuest UserThis stay was great! The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were complete, the bedding was comfortable, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, the location was convenient, and there was everything to eat, drink and have fun around. I will come again next time!
TTy TravelerI stayed here on New Year’s Eve and enjoyed my stay. The workers are nice and helpful and the room was very clean. The room was small and simple, but the bed was comfortable and heater worked efficiently. If you’re spending a few days in San Fran, stay here. You won’t regret it.
