"The hotel itself is very nice, and the valet and bellhop staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is excellent, right on the Riverwalk, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure; however, if you’re tall, the shower head placement is not ideal—my husband is 5’10” and had to duck to use it. We would consider staying again, but on our last morning the toilet clogged and overflowed onto the floor. This was frustrating, especially since very little toilet paper had been used. Most people would consider a toilet overflow an urgent issue that requires immediate attention. We called for assistance, but no one ever came. It seemed as though staff assumed they could wait since we had a couple of hours before checkout, which was disappointing. As a result, my husband had to go to the ground floor to use the restroom, and we had to navigate around toilet water on the bathroom floor while getting ready."

"The room was decent, with two 1.5-meter beds and an old-fashioned bathtub in the bathroom where you had to stand to shower. The hotel was said to be a converted prison, located next to a small park. There's a river there, but not the one along the river walk. It's about a five-minute walk to the river. The hotel offers breakfast on the first floor in a small but filling space. They also have a COSCO coffee machine. There's a Domino's Pizza next door; their pizzas are quite good."

"The Riverwalk Plaza was a beautiful, historical hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful with all questions and concerns. It’s walking distance to the Riverwalk which is a HUGE bonus. There is also onsite dining options. I had the best blueberry latte I have ever had at the cafe on location. The next time I find myself in San Antonio, I will definitely be staying here again!"

"This is a lovely hotel with a fabulous breakfast. It is steps away from San Fernando Mission, The Alamo and of course the Riverwalk. The rooms are very clean and the Customer Service Staff is excellent. The adjoining hotel has a rooftop bar which is a must for great sunsets. You can get the Trolley on the San Fernando Mission plaza and it's a good way to see the City with 2 day pass."

"Meals: Very similar to other hotels. Three types of fruit were provided: apples, bananas, and oranges. Texas-style waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausages were also served (there were other items as well). Hotel Service: The staff were very friendly. Amenities: I only used the swimming pool. The pool is divided into a standard pool and a heated pool area. Towels were provided separately, so it was comfortable to use. Location: It is a bit of a distance, but it is within walking distance."

"Very distinctive hotel! However, the room was wrong. We set a premium river view bed room with a balcony, but found that the room type given was an ordinary superior bed room with different costs. I didn't bother to change it and didn't find the front desk. The room is small but the hotel environment is very good.
