In order to run the Lanzhou Marathon, I found a hotel close to the starting point. The people living in the building are all participating in the Lanzhou Marathon. The environment is OK and relatively clean, but the room I chose has no windows and is not ventilated. I have to turn on the air conditioner, otherwise it will be a bit stuffy. It is convenient for travel, and there are some places to eat downstairs. The waiter is very enthusiastic. It was already past 11 o'clock when I arrived at the store, and they quickly arranged accommodation.

I didn’t want to lie flat during the Chinese New Year, so I came to Lanzhou on an impromptu trip. I looked at many hotels and finally chose the Orange Crystal Guomao Hotel. The front desk service was very good and helped me with my luggage. The check-in process was fast. I upgraded the room type for free. The room is clean and simple. It’s also very big. The environment is quiet. The robot delivers the service without anyone disturbing. Breakfast is on the second floor. I will stay here again next time I come to Lanzhou. Thank you to the hotel staff for their warm reception. As a colleague in the service industry, I wish the hotel business a prosperous business👍👍👍

The high-rise rooms overlook the Yellow River. The facilities are very new and the space is large. There is a large gym and a heated swimming pool. Moreover, the hotel lobby bar is the number one coffee shop in Lanzhou. The key is that the coffee is very affordable, and you don't want to go out at all.

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

The bed was so soft and comfy, the large tub was perfect to soak in, the room was spacious and very clean, and the view gorgeous! English is widely spoken and the staff were very professional, welcoming, helpful, and presentable. The gym and pool are also international 5-star hotel quality too. Just perfect!! So good, I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to fly out the next day, highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

Perfekt stay, Thank you! Absolut worth to mention: very very good Matratze! Normale in China they are too Hard - but this one was Heaven so we stayed longer then planed

GGuest UserThe front door of the hotel is diagonally opposite the Provincial Maternity and Children's Hospital. Parking is in Area J of the parking lot on the 3rd floor of the Lanzhou Center. The elevator goes directly to the lobby on the 5th floor. The environment is satisfactory and the service is good. If you want to eat, go out to the side of the hotel lobby and go directly to the 5th floor of the Lanzhou Center Mall. , shopping and food are convenient. Overall it's okay if it's not too harsh. I'm more afraid of the cold and snow, so I asked the front desk for a quilt and they also provided an electric heater. I praised the receptionist Xiao Jiang!

GGuest UserI chose to stay close to the airport so that I can bound a flight easily to diffrent places. The hotel is also within 15 minutes walk to Lanzhou new area railway to give me easy train ride (40 minutes) to Lanzhou west (main) station. The only down side is if you are coming back late, there are very limited trains to the new area railway, and nothing to Zhongchuang airport railway either except private ride (around 75 km, price is 28 yuan for the shared ride or 200 yuan for solo). However, once you can manage to get to the airport, there will be free shuttles from the hotel just by calling to their friendly staffs. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I really appreciate the visions of the hotel founder (his book can be found when you enter the room :) who successfully created hotel homes for travellers. I felt comfortable and home there.

Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
