"The waiter was very polite"

"A very bad experience. The staff were arrogant and visibly annoyed by the presence of guests (rolling their eyes, a complete lack of courtesy). They had absolutely no sense of service. After a simple request, and after a disagreement about a simple request, they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. The breakfast was insignificant and did not live up to the hotel's advertised standard. A small, stale croissant, an omelet station, four jams, and that was it. I was supposed to receive a 15% discount on my restaurant bill since I booked with a "few days in paradise" upgrade, but even then, the staff failed to do their job properly. This establishment clearly lacks professionalism and attention to its guests."

"Amazing bar on the beach down from our villa. Went with a large group and this was always our hangout spot. Super fun relaxed atmosphere with friendly service and delicious drinks! Had the Rum Punch several times and the Pina Colada was scrumptious. The wait staff was incredible and made us feel so special ❤️"

"Good location. The reception staff were friendly, but the people working at the beach restaurant were incredibly slow, inattentive, and careless: you had to ask them to serve you or prepare your food because they never had anything ready. Breakfast was included (see photo), but it was very basic and lacked variety. Restaurant prices were expensive, as were the massages (€60/hour). The Wi-Fi didn't reach our room, and the shower drain was clogged. They supposedly fixed it, but it was still clogged. There was also no hot water in the bathroom, so we had to shower with cold water every day. The mosquito nets were torn, so mosquitoes still got in. The hotel is nice, and the rooms are spacious, but so many things went wrong that I left with a bittersweet feeling."

"Very cozy & Pleasant small hotel. The place sits in the back area of the center of Las Terrenas, about 400-500 FT from the beach. The rooms are well appointed & have everything you need, there are a total of 10 rooms? This place is good for those seeking a quiet Yoga like setting. Lots of vegetation, nice pool area. Luis, the caretaker is extremely nice & highly attentive to our requests. He cooks your breakfast to order. Had Luis not been such a pleasant & helpful person, the review could have been differently. We experienced the unfortunate wrath of mother nature, it rained for hours one evening & the hotel yard was flooded with approximately 1.5-2 Ft of water, not anyone’s fault. A couple of drawbacks: The doors are difficult to open with the provided key from inside & outside. We changed rooms due to the key issue, same thing happened with the new room & the new room had clear mold stains on the bed. This was concerning, we did not make the caretaker aware of it as it was late evening. During check in, the power went out, we had to wait outside the room until the power came in or caretaker brought a generator, ultimately it took too long & it was warm outside, we went out to dinner & power was back on a few hours later. Finally, the floor was dirty during check in, our feet were noticeably dirty from walking a few minutes in the room, house keeper cleaned the room the next morning. Overall, we enjoyed the place, The proximity to the beach, the exquisite breakfast & great service from Luis"

"The place is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are lush with plenty of flowers. There are two swimming pools with plenty of space for sunbathing. The apartment was spacious and well decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. The staff were very efficient and helpful especially Lucas who made sure that we were comfortable."

"Superlative. The beauty of the place , the elegance of the hotel , the quality of the food and the absolute gentleness of the staff. Arriving to this hotel seems to have found a paradise corner. Breakfast with products made at home with ocean view . Clean and well furnished rooms. Menu to the paper with fish plates cooked by screaming .Fish fished by the hotel fishermen ...that dire.Complimenti to the owner and thank you for a quality holiday."

"The room is quite big, and the double bed room is much more comfortable than the twin room. But the hotel is older and the facilities are older. The air conditioner can only cool but not heat. It happened to be very cold during those days, which was very uncomfortable. In addition, the hotel can store it for a long time, which is very convenient, so I stay there all the time."
