"We chose the Berghof for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration and it was perfect. From the pick up arrangements to the warmth of the welcome and impeccable service by every team member, our stay was faultless. We particularly enjoyed the central location, cosy stylish decor, breakfast choices and the relaxed comfortable bar with superior service from Oliver and colleagues. The spa was amazingly chilled and reception staff ever so helpful when I lost my purse . They rushed to bring it to me in the boot room after it had been found outside. The warmth and quiet attentiveness of all staff meant we had the greatest positve impact on our stay. Thanks to all involved in making der Berghof a delightful sanctuary in which to totally relax and rejuvenate."

"Stayed here for 3 nights and found this to be an excellent hotel. The room was not huge but had plenty of storage and very modern facilities including a powerful spacious shower. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned well every day. The breakfast here is very good indeed. Massive selection of hot and cold dishes with eggs cooked to order and plenty of variety of juices and extras, I liked the fresh juicing station for energising carrot and mixed juices. We never ate here but we used the bar a lot and it is very cosy - with a log fire - and had plenty of relaxed seating. There is table service and every person we encountered was super friendly and helpful. The staff in this hotel were all round excellent in my opinion. The boot room is easy to access and has plenty of storage. The main ski lift area is about a 5 min walk but there is a smaller lift only 2 mins away which will take you up the mountain and you can ski across to oberlech easily from there. Great hotel and highly recommended."

A very nice sauna, steam room, and pool area with great, easy-to-use showers. The generous breakfast buffet is a delightful start to each day. Many thanks to the Walch family! I cannot recommend room 21 under the roof; only book rooms with a balcony!"

There are always creative surprises – I was able to catch my own fish and learn something new in the Food Lab, which made the stay truly unique.
