"Our family of five spent 10 nights at Alpina hotel in Lech and next time we will stay longer! It was the perfect choice for us - we are so glad we booked it. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which gave us all space (we have three teenagers) and a kitchen so we didn’t always have to eat out, but we had the luxuries of being in a beautiful boutique hotel. A delicious and varied breakfast each morning, afternoon tea served every afternoon by the fire. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They asked us if there were any other foods we would like served for breakfast and afternoon tea etc. The service was so personalised and warm - it’s just a very special place. We also loved the sauna and steam room, which we used each afternoon after returning from skiing or a lovely walk around town or along a hiking trail. We had the opportunity to chat with other guests from around the world - many of whom have been returning to this hotel for decades (one guest told me she used to sit at the same breakfast table as us with her children 30 years earlier!). Bruno and Gabrielle were always available to help with any enquiries, including making restaurant reservations and ensuring we were given a lovely table at the best restaurant in town. We have skiied in a number of places - including in Switzerland - and this place is our favorite. The location is fantastic - very short and easy walk to the ski lifts, all restaurants and the supermarket. You can’t do better. Book it!!"

"I had a fantastic experience at Haus Schrofenstein. It is family run and the hosts couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodation. The hotel is excellent value for money. Rooms are large, clean, and have plenty of well thought out storage. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is simple but good - coffee fantastic. The hotel is a short walk to the lifts and town centre."

"A perfect home where you are welcomed with worm , and this is the most valuable think we all want when we are traveling , Claudia and his family and all the staff are there to offer you the best experience , great food , nice rooms , sauna .... For those who are there to ski there is a public shuttle bus in front of the hotel , if you want to reach the center you have to walk for 15 min . Thanks for the beautiful days I had with you all . "We ordered a dish of the day and a Flaker Goulash. The meal of the day the staff could not name or find on google translate. So I to a chance - it was an unusual collection of meat and vegetable diced and fried. It was a greasy mess with burnt hard peas, meat that often was just gristle. I was very hungry but it was too horrible to finish. It cost 29 Euros. I have never ever turned food away. The Goulash consisted of half a sausage a fried egg and three gravity cube pieces of beef with a thick brown sauce and a plate full of noodles this was 30 Euros, really felt very ripped off."

"I do about 300 nights a year at Bonvoy properties and was blown away by my experience at this charming Alpine hotel. The location itself is like being in a postcard. The hotel is very clean and modern and offers all the luxury amenities you could ever want (multiple styles of saunas, pools, and a complete gym). The best part about the hotel is the fact that every meal comes with the stay. This isn’t normal hotel food, however. All meals are made with incredibly fresh local ingredients in their Michelin rated restaurant. Dinner is 5 courses and offers 4 meal types (meaning vegetarian and vegan friendly, too). Don’t worry, even if you miss the great lunch, they have afternoon cake time with several cake selections. The hotel is also a ten minute hike away from a beautiful 50 foot waterfall and like a 5 minute walk from a ski lift (with enclosed gondola cars). The chair lift system connects you to most of the entire area and is almost like a mountain metro. Finally, and most importantly, customer service and the people working at the hotel make the stay exceptional. We were given world class service by Dominic. He greeted us and got us checked in when we arrived (and also called us before we arrived to make sure we had dinner waiting for us as we arrived late in the evening). He gave great advice on things to do and was a genuinely kind and caring person. I have never been made to feel more welcomed or appreciated in all my stays. The whole staff was great and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Dominic and team for such a memorable stay!"

"We stayed at this hotel for an unforgettable ski week. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a super friendly staff that made us feel at home and this was usual every time we met them in the lobby. Rooms are very spacious with great views of the mountains. There is a T-bar lift just 20 mts from the hotel which is a plus. The hotel is located aprox 700 mts from Lech main street but walking has never been a pain (although you have to consider taking a taxi if you arrive at Lech in public transport). Breaksfast is really outstanding with many options both sweet and salad. There is a relax area for apres ski with both a sauna and steam bath but no jacuzzi. My only suggestion would be to offer a kettle with tea/coffee options in the room, but for the rest I would definetivley chose Hinterwies again."

"A truly beautiful hotel that leaves nothing to be desired. Very friendly, helpful owners and attentive staff. The rooms are comfortable and offer everything you need for a successful vacation. A large selection at breakfast and the evening menu (varied and featuring regional products – delicious!). This certainly won't be our last visit."
