Premier Inn Leicester City Centre

The location is perfect but the room standard is varied. Couple months back I stayed in the renovated room without bath but shower. I wanted to the same type of room this time but I was put into a disable room which had some very strong chemical smell and the bathroom conditions was really bad with mould and colour. Tried to change room but was not allowed. They said they could only move me to another disable room even I paid the same price for the renovated room.

I used to like this Premier Inn as I was quite happy with my previous stay. However this time we were allocated with a low floor and not renovated room. When I requested for room change, I was requested to wait at the lobby till 3:30pm whilst the check-in time printed in the hotel confirmation was 2pm. During the stay there was no room cleaning, and no replenishment of toiletries which was made our stay not comfy. Pictures #1 and 2 are room not renovated and pictures #3 and 4 the refurbished one.

Today is going to be last day at this place and I cannot express how professional and mannered the staff are, if you approach them with respect and kindness expect to get it back! I spoke to multiple of staffs at the reception and have no idea what their names are apart from one who has given me a complimentary voucher with her name imprinted Natalie. If you're reading this thank you for being very nice along with your colleagues, I for one had the best experience staying and not had an issue with any of the rooms given to me. I'd also like to thank a Gentlemen with blonde hair who had fixed my issue when I booked a stay on a wrong date without paying for Flex! Was quick to address the issue and told me everything is sorted within 2 minutes. Rooms are very clean, tidy and well presented there is absolutely nothing to complaint about. Very happy, will I be making a return? Definitely. Recommended? Definitely, you have city centre and plenty of shops not even 2 minutes away, not to mention the food downstairs which I haven't yet tried but next time! :) V T

Excellent location. Walking distance to everywhere we needed to go. Check in staff very helpful, key card didn't work, and receptionist replaced and took us to our room to make sure it was working. Room was massive. Did show signs of wear and tear but very clean. Didn't have breakfast, looked very busy. Will definitely stay again.

Great hotel, convenient location and helpful and professional staff. I stayed here in April and had a great experience. The staff can’t do enough for you - in particular the receptionist and housekeeper teams. Natalie, Nicola and Toni on reception and housekeepers, Josie, Sabrina and Tatyana - I can’t remember all the names but everyone was incredibly helpful and professional and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I had an enjoyable stay. I even had a Welcome Package in my room on arrival. Each member of staff shows exceptional attention to detail and are a credit to Premier Inn.

Close to train station a plus 1 star but the WiFi download speed is worst of any hotel ive stayed in 0.4Mbps in my room 311 third floor & at reception it improved to 0.8Mbps. Totally Unusable. !!!!!!!! Won’t ever book this hotel again…………………..

The room was very clean, the beds were so comfortable. The hotel was very clean everywhere. The staff were really nice and professional. The cooked breakfast was amazing with excellent service

Stayed here for 6 weeks from may to June whilst working in the area found the rooms to be clean and tidy but some of the windows are locked shut and this is frustrating as some fresh air is needed and the rooms can get hot and I am not a big fan of air conditioning the food is decent but the menu is limited and if your there like I was you need more choices the staff are helpful and friendly and are there if you need anything big shout out to brook and martyna
