"We spend two nights at the Lenkerhof with our two children (11 and 14 years old). The facilities of the hotel are very nice and the location is great for hiking. The pools are also very nice. The indoor pool is not too crowded and it is easy to to laps. The outdor pools has great mountain views and is really nice. We very much enjoyed our stay there. The quality of the food at the restaurant is really great. It has a rating of 15 (out of 20 from Gault et Millau) but it seems to be much better than that. For example the food in this restaurant is definitely better (more crative and simply more tasty) than the Table d'Edgar of the Lausanne palace (17 points in the same guide). The only complaint I would have is that the beds are very firm (and I like firm beds); given that this is a 5 star hotel, I think they should think about investing in new mattresses (actauuly our 14 year old son woke up the second night at 5am and decided to finish his night on the sofa (we had booked junior suites that had sofas)."

"Beautiful located on the mountain side, with beautiful view of the valley, on a walk away from the center of Lenk. We had a very wide family room with 2 bedrooms, living and wide terrace with beautiful view! Very friendly guest. Extended breakfast buffet, including smoked salmon and various delicious cheese, very extensive range of tea, delicious coffee machine, ... Also it 4-gangenmenu is always delicious and sufficient! If you don't want anything, you can adjust. Fine terrace to eat outside. At the terrace walking nice goats around, happy they're calm in the evening so their bells stop swinging... Good beds. The windows are very sound-isolered. For the lovers located just near the municipal pool, also on walking distance from both available cableways, to use free with Simmentalpass, also to use local bus free! For us, 3 stars are worth!"
