It is exactly the same. I can also lie in bed and watch the stars in the snowy mountains. The most satisfying accommodation in Lijiang is more comfortable than the first day of Pullman. The location is in the center of Shuhe River. There is no one in the epidemic. You don't have to queue to the snowy mountains. Traveling in the off-season is still possible. During my trip to Yunnan, I stayed in this B&B for three days and two nights. The team led by Xiaomi, Xiao He and Xiao Hu, were really considerate and diligent in their greetings. Since the staff of this B&B are closed from 11pm to 8am, but the first One day we arrived at the B&B very late. They arranged for Xiao He to pick me up in the parking lot and help me carry my luggage to the B&B. They also helped us wash the clothes we had brought from the previous multi-day trip and stayed with us until almost 12 o'clock in the evening. On the second morning, we needed to go out early in the morning to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Xiaomi also arranged for staff to pack breakfast for us early in the morning. Xiaomi’s team was very complimentary.

I like this B&B very much. The room is not old and the style is quite fresh. The two small courtyards are very beautiful. You can sit in the small courtyards to bask in the sun. It is very comfortable and cozy. I met the proprietress before leaving. She is very beautiful and nice. I am a light sleeper and I am afraid that the inn will be noisy, but this one is not noisy at all, so you can rest assured. I will continue to stay here next time if I have the chance😀

A cosy boutique hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, sufficiently equipped (even has bidet toilet!).
Had a good night's sleep there. If you contact them beforehand, owner will come to the gate to help bring your luggage into the ancient town. Cleaner lady offered to lend me her own personal foldable umbrella so that it was more convenient to bring around (they already provide non-foldable umbrellas for customers to use). Location of hotel is quite central, good to explore all parts of the ancient town. Owner was proactive in adding Wechat so that you can ask for assistance whenever needed. When asked, owner gave useful tips on where to visit.

Very nice hotel for the price. Room was spacious and clean. Free fruit and warm evening snacks were offered. The breakfast was average; the breakfast room, however, did not look that pleasant. Laundry and dryer machines were available to use for free.
Staff did not speak English, but was helpful nevertheless. It may be a good idea for the hotel to have some written information in English available.

The boss is very good, contact in advance to pick up and drop off at the airport, we arrived late, here to say, the night here is too cold, the kind of snoring, and then give us tea, the boss knows tea very well, but we don't understand it, but it is very timely and very warm. My second excellent stay at a Desti hostel. The building itself had a very cool design and I imagine it would be a very lively place to stay during the peak season. The dorm and bathroom were very clean like in the other Desti I stayed in. The kids at reception were so nice and helped me book tickets that otherwise would have been very difficult to book as a non-Chinese speaker. The hostel is not in Lijiang proper, it is in a different old Town that is also very nice and quieter than Lijiang. It is about a 20 minute drive from Lijiang Old Town. Many buses to the various attractions leave from Lijiang, so you need to factor that driving time into your planning.

Baisha who came to see the concert on May 1st, took a taxi from Lijiang Ancient City to the Baisha Building sign here, first of all, I highly recommend Baisha Ancient Town. There is no commercialization. Every store on the street can see the boss's careful layout. No matter which corner you go, you can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain when you look up. Just like the snow-capped town of Switzerland, then all the way along the stone road accompanied by the sound of snow-capped water flowing down the snow-capped mountain, came to this store, the only youth travel in the whole town, it turned out that this is an international youth travel, many foreigners, just came in the store, shocked, Naxi style yard, The guy at the front desk took me to the holiday and walked a few small courtyards. It was very big. The room I lived in faced the snowy mountains. Everyone watched the video. It was like a paradise. There were folk bands and bars in the backyard. It was very nice. I will definitely stay for a few more days next time.

Very good service and hospitality! Liaised with the owners via WeChat and they warmly welcomed us and picked us from the car park, so we did not have to drag our luggages on the cobbled streets. It was a very short 2 minute walk to the hotel from the car park, and the hotel was at a good location to explore the other sights in Lijiang old town as well. You can enjoy tea with the owners and the stay also came with a good, hearty breakfast. There was also a nice patio Rooms were clean. Really enjoyed my stay :) Would recommend!

I was very impressed with the overall experience. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of all the major attractions. The rooms are decorated in traditional Naxi style, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had many questions and concerns during my stay and the staff was always happy to answer my questions and help me out. The hotel also has a number of amenities, including a free breakfast buffet, a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city, and free fruit, tea, and snacks.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lijiang. It is the perfect place to experience the Naxi culture and the long history of the old town of Lijiang. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a number of amenities that will make your holiday a great one.
Here are some additional details about my stay:
The hotel is located near the water truck of Lijiang Old Town with long history. It combines and continues the style of Naxi independent courtyard Courtyard. Well-known scenic spots in the old town: Bar Street, Sifang Street, Mufu, Black Dragon Lake and so on are close by.
The staff is friendly and helpful, but they mainly speak Chinese. For foreign tourists, don't worry. You can use Google Translate to communicate with them. They are happy and willing to help you at any time. The hotel is equipped with independent WiFi, convenient transportation, you can get on the bus, kung fu tea room, classic breakfast, 24 hours front desk, safe and convenient.
In addition, the hotel can also provide airport and Lijiang railway station pick-up for guests (please consult the business for details) to ensure that you have a carefree trip to Lijiang.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Lijiang Ancient City, Bolin · Damei Huasu Resort and Homestay (Big Waterwheel Store), and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Finally, I would like to add that the hotel is very affordable, especially considering the quality of the facilities and the location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great value for their money in Lijiang.

There was no pressure to purchase anything; instead, we received genuine recommendations for various enjoyable activities/packages and dining options, along with assistance in making reservations. Our assigned butler, ”小侯” (Xiao Hou), along with the rest of the staff, went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was flawless. Additionally, being welcomed by the owner’s adorable pet, a pig named Pupu, added an extra touch of warmth and charm to our arrival experience.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its serene ambiance. Despite its location in a bustling area, the secluded spot provided an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. The villa we stayed in was not only beautifully designed but also incredibly smart, offering all the modern conveniences one could ask for. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed.
And let's not forget about the breathtaking view! Waking up to the sight of majestic mountains, a tranquil lake, and a charming bridge was a true highlight of our stay. Experiencing such natural beauty right from the moment you open your eyes from your bed is truly magical. Moreover, the restaurant's decoration was specifically designed with Instagrammable features in mind, adding an extra layer of visual appeal to the dining experience.
Additionally, when they learned I was unwell, the hotel staff kindly offered free medicine, showing their dedication to guest comfort. Moreover, existing services such as the welcome dessert, breakfast, afternoon tea by the snowy mountain lake, 1-way airport/train transfer, and even the hair wash were all indicative of their commitment to ensuring every guest's needs are met with utmost care and attention.
The only regret is that we couldn't catch the 日照金山 phenomenon as it was mostly cloudy during our stay.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. It's unquestionably worth every penny, and the actual experience surpassed the captivating photos. We cannot recommend it highly enough; you simply must experience it firsthand.

HheakyIf I had to pick the three most impressive things during my five-day trip to Lijiang, the most memorable ones would be the Tiger Gorge, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the relaxation in the old city I experienced while staying at this hotel.
The hotel owner was so kind that he went out of his way to solve all the big and small problems we had while traveling in Goseong because we were foreigners and were not good at speaking, such as not being able to pay with Alipay or calling DiDi. He was also well-versed in tea ceremony, so he provided us with a variety of teas such as pu-erh tea and black tea. Tea was served to me several times.
The hotel is located within Goseong and is close to the entrance, making it convenient. There are many famous restaurants in Goseong right nearby, and there is a night market right behind it, so you can experience a variety of food.
All facilities are well-organized and very clean. It seems to have been designed based on a traditional Chinese house, but the interior is all modern, with lights, TVs, and even curtains that can be operated by voice.
The breakfast was home-cooked and served in a variety of ways, so I think it was much better than going out and buying it.
Lijiang is a very famous city, so there are many big 5-star hotels, but I think it is a much more comfortable hotel than the big chain hotels. The price is much cheaper though.
Anyway, this is a highly recommended hotel. 5 stars are not enough!!

The location is right in the heart of Shuhe old Town and our Garden room was cozy and very peaceful. The room was rustic, large and clean and we spent large parts of the day simply chilling here. There is even a dedicated tea drinking area in the room to try puer tea daily. The island bar/cafe is a beautiful setting to have breakfast or an afternoon tea by the water. There are also multiple places indoor and outdoor to brew up tea provided by the residence. We were left alone to do as we pleased but any questions were answered immediately- such as ways to find the old tea horse path. We travelled as a couple but this is a great place for groups or families wanting to soak in this peaceful environment. Hopefully we can come back soon!

Room condition is very good. Suitable for family groups or groups of friends or couples. 2nd floor view overlooking the old city and surrounding atmosphere. Clean. There is a common area to accommodate customers.
The staff are smiling and cheerful. Gives advice and answers questions about Lijiang tourism very well.
I will come back and stay here again!! 🩷🩷

GGuest UserService: The boss is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. We arrived at the store relatively late, and they came out to greet us. The necessary items will be delivered as soon as possible.
Environment: The courtyard is very clean, comfortable and quiet.
Facilities: We specially booked a room with floor heating (the heating was turned on for us in advance) and there was an electric blanket on the bed, so we could sleep warmly.

WWaltersThe hotel is a little away from the old town (about 20 mins drive), but it is near the exit from the highway, for those driving in. The area is still under construction, so lacks charm. The first impression of the lobby also does not give off a very classy vibe. It is an enormous hanger with lots of stuff dotted around, and no clear flow. There is also a crappy tea shop shoved into the corner that looks like it is taken from a cheap, regional Chinese airport. So not the greatest check in impressions.
The hotel is really new, so the corridors and rooms are in great shape, and well up to standard for the money. We were also able to pay 138 RMB each for the full dinner buffet in the exec lounge, which was delicious, and had a great range of foods.
Good view of Yulong snow mountain from the hotel too.
There are some rough around the edges parts in common areas, but the hotel parts are very nice, and recommended.

GGuest UserIt was an excellent and relaxing trip. the Boutique Inn where I stayed for 8 days was fantastic; the owner was very helpful and helped me to arrange local attractions. he also ensured that I was safe since I was alone travelling to Lijiang. The Inn where I stayed was very safe and the people were very friendly. I will book the same Inn to stay again next year as I have plans to visit Shangalila. Yunnan is such a zen, relaxing, with great scenic and no air pollution! :)
