62 Castle Street Hotel

Room was just OK, although cold as the Hotel heating was turned off, so had to complain. Also, they debited us £100.00 as a "security bond" and upon check in promised to refund the sum as we checked out. They failed to do that. Apparently the refund process takes "a few dsys". Rather disingenuous wouldn't you say. We won't stay there again.

A stylish boutique hotel. Good size bedrooms. Only downside was the noise. There was a bottle bank outside our room which was used regularly until the early hours. Also street noise. Otherwise lovely hotel good location for Albert Docks and restaurants etc

We were having a night in Liverpool and this hotel caught our eye because it was a good price for a suite. Not disappointed. Room was large with a huge very comfy bed. Lovely bathroom with bath . Bathrobes supplied. Would recommend and will stay again . Staff were extremely friendly . Forgot to say it’s very central

Nice hotel to stay, location is Excellent, red carpet was out on our visit, check in was easy/good, stay were very polite/helpful. Downstairs has a cocktail bar which has a fancy look, lifts are accessible to all floors. Mini bar in room was good not to expensive either. The room was huge, very high ceilings, bathroom was simple but did have a bath as not many hotels nowadays do, no window so room did steam up a lot along with the mirror, bed was very flat but okay for a short visit, windows did not open which was disappointing as was very hot in August, we did have a fan in our room which was good at night. The air conditioning unit did not work and by the sounds of the staff when asked about it it hasn’t worked for a long time! Rather nosey at night but it’s what to expect in the centre of Liverpool especially at weekends, the only real down point I would say about this hotel was the £100 deposit you have to pay on arrival as we did not have this back for 7 days.

I was surprised that the hotel did not have AC in the rooms However, we were there when the weather was cool and the room was comfortable. The large fan also kept the air moving.

This hotel brands itself as a "luxury" hotel in the heart of Liverpool. Here is a defintion of "luxury" - a state of great comfort or elegance. We have stayed in luxury hotels all over the world but were very disappointed when we arrived at this particular hotel. The first ting we noticed in the room was that the carpet hadn't been vacuumed before we arrived. We were also misssing the complimentary bathrobes included with the room and the TV connection was very poor, even though the hotel boasts 1 Gb Internet in all rooms, with individual servers and routers. One of the studs had come off on the arm of the couch leaving a sharp piece of metal sticking up. In our opinion, these are small details that should have been checked before new guests arrive. The location is good providing you don't mind hearing loud, banging music until the small hours from the bar next door. We did spot an A/C unit on the wall but there were no controls to operate it and, as the windows cannot be opened very far, the rooms are very stuffy and warm. On a positive note, breakfast was very nice and they delivered it to our room both mornings. In summary, I would not stay here again as it feels the owners are not concermed about the whole "guest" experience and this was evident from this weekend.

An excellent hotel in an excellent location. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was fabulous. Rooms had everything you needed and the mini bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Getting breakfast brought to the room was an extra touch which made it even better. The hotel itself was quite warm even with windows open and a fan in the room but it was like that most places we went to that weekend. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful customer service. Receptionist was so friendly and welcoming! Hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. Lifts to floors, making is accessible for those with additional needs. The room was beautiful- so large and bright! Breakfast was delicious and brought to our door at a time we selected. Brilliant location. Would highly recommend!
