This is a lovely and relaxed 6-bedroom boutique hotel, with the bedrooms above one of the nicest old-style pubs that I have ever been in, in London. The food, drink and service in the pub were all excellent. The rooms are spread over 3 storeys, up a narrow staircase, with 2 rooms on each floor. If you're not nimble with stairs, ask for a room on the 1st floor. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so we got plenty of exercise up and down. The room has a lovely old feel about it, but has modern, luxury furnishings. It was very comfortable, with all necessary amenities, although the pillows were too soft for our liking. It's on a quiet street, with The Charterhouse, and a small park within a minute's walk. There's also a Tesco Express, Co-Op, and several restaurant options within a few minutes walk. I'd recommend Gail's cafe nearby for good coffee and pastries. Farringdon rail station is 5 minutes away, for good access to other parts of the city.
